I will never get used to how uncannily Rick Carlisle resembles Jim Carrey.

No matter how many years go by and no matter how many times I see him coaching.. it still remains eerie as fuck.

He's 21 yo. He has the athleticism, he's averaged over 6 boards and a block and a half... He won't be out of control throughout his whole career, interior players do not keep chucking like guards can for 10 years... If you've given up on him, you're silly.

Dude doesn't even know WHAT his game is. Is he a Camby-like player? Is he a slashing shooter?

How many times has he come out on the court and looked lost? Dude is no better than Mozgov right now, until he learns what type of player he is he's useless. Trade him for a 1st if teams offer it.

That's exactly the kind of misplaced pessimism you hear so often after people have watched a little bit of a young player... But you should just never do that. Randolph is not another Milicic. He's displayed some ability. Tons of people dismissed Jermaine O'Neal when he was traded for Dale Davis. You just don't give up on them like that.

have you posted on NBA-GAF recently? Half the posters hate/troll players. If you're not a star you suck. No middle ground here according to NBA-GAF unless you make Sportscenter.

Exactly, he's not. Larry Brown is known for shitting on young guys...

Randolph doesn't even know to do on the court... outside of looking like a basketball player and having all the combine numbers, what exactly in his game says that he is? He's as uncomfortable in his own body and on the court as I've ever seen in a guy. Is there a chance that he one day wakes up and says "WOW. I'm supposed to be a beast!"? Yeah. But those odds are slim as hell. Shit, at least Ajinca has a basic idea of what he should be doing while he's in the game...

O'Neal was a high school player who simply wasn't big enough.
