Ankle injuries are painful as fuck. Putting that shit in a bucket of water filled with ice is no joke either.

I had one of the worst of all time back during a AAU game. Was playing at the Adidas National Tournament in Vegas (Dwight Howard and Josh Smith were on the same AAU team at this tournament btw:lol ). Went up for a rebound, landed on my ankle and it twisted back far as fuck. Instead of falling to the ground when shit like that happens, the ball was still in my hand when I hit the ground and my ankle stayed bent before I finally hit.

Most painful shit I can remember and pretty much fucked me. Had to walk around with a Yao boot on for 3 months. Doc said it was so severely sprained it would've been much better if I would've broken it, and I got there to late so they couldn't do it. Then I tried to come back too soon from it and meh..fucked me over.

To this day I still can't look at ankle injuries on TV because of that.

I think he could have been a 7mill+ per year OT or defensive lineman. He has the height, long arms, quick feet and low center of gravity to be a terror in the NBA. He was recruited to LSU for his football playing ability after all.

Smokey you are my kindred spirit man. I did a high ankle sprain playing football in HS(I was running full out caught the pass and my cleat dug into the turf at a angle and planted my ankle while my body kept going. Fricken thing POPPED!) Anyway I went to a ortho and he said the same thing that it would have been better if my ankle had broke instead. I wore the Robot Jock boot for 3 months then started playing a basketball summer league and sprained it again only 2 months in. Now I have to play like I'm 60. Sounds like you lost a lot more than I did though. I can't watch people rolling their ankle either it sends chills up my spine.

There's only 2 lineman in the entire NFL making $7 million or more. We could bump that threshold down to $6M and only be at 4. Only 9 making $5M or more.

Basically, he'd have to be All-Pro to get that kind of guaranteed cash.

Are you taking signing bouses and performance clauses into consideration? A lot of guys make 5 mill or more a year if they are decent.

I tried watching some football during the NBA off season and was shocked by how much the refs interfere in that game. It's like every play you hear "there's a flag down" then you see a buff ref talking to the camera. No idea how people can enjoy that.

Re-watch the first couple games of last years finals shit was ridiculous. Most crooked refs in all of the major US sports, and now they can give out techs whenever they want. Just some incredible bullshit

Not saying that, but I can see how you would get that idea. I should have said " Another reason why I hate NBA referees is because they are the most crooked refs in the major US sports" I meant that the refs can make games unwatchable at times with over officiating.
