In this worlds, idols don't sing, they solve puzzles!

The puzzle seemed cool, but as has been the problem with 80% of them, there wasn't enough time for the viewer to really understand the rules. This show would be so much better if it was written by people who are actually skilled at depicting mind games and puzzles like Fukumoto or the Gamble Fish guy. Hell, this puzzle reminded me of Gambling Emperor Zero and it would have been awesome had it actually been presented in the same way.

Interesting Chizuru focused episode. Quite emotional really. I hate when its relationship dynamics like this.
Shun over everyone else? Really Mary?

I didnt know the second part was coming April? I guess it wont run against DLHB?

Tomodachi wa Mahou
Last Exile Fam 08:

This was a really interesting episode. It's an aerial battle episode. And most of it was ugly, really, really ugly. The CG was horrendous,
rewatch the scenes where stuff catches on flames, it is utterly laughable.
And yet the episode itself was enjoyable and good.

The key moment of the episode, the big bad mothership of the enemy is
literally completely exposed on the underbelly perfectly setting up Millia's big shot. Lol what?

What made this episode work for me was literally everything surrounding the aerial scenes with its horrific CG. The actually animated stuff was nice, par for the course for this series really but it's where the characters are going that is really interesting. Poor Gisey :(

But it's a really cool parallel to a certain scene in the first season of Last Exile and it sets up some dorama for the next few episodes. This episode though even had some god damn
terrible russian! AND IT EVEN HAD CHIAKI OMIGAWA.
All in all it's an episode I thoroughly enjoyed even though I wasn't a huge fan of most of the episode itself. I like this show a lot, it's definitely the best thing Gonzo has done in the last 5 years and it really is better than the first series.

Everything is tsundere to me
This summarizes the entire show so far for me. I enjoy it much more than I thought I would.

Y'know, I know that the CG is objectively bad, but there's a certain charm to it. The shot composure is much better than it's been, and while the CG is still stiff, there's still a drama to it. Yes, it's definitely below par, but hey, what do you expect, it's Range Murata. :p

The animation outside of the CG is top notch too.

Horizon 7~9 (for the sake of full disclosure I didn't watch 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8)

It's a bad show. Just getting that out of the way. All the problems you see in the first episode crop up again and again, sometimes worse, sometimes not.

Not finding the story incoherent or cluttered or anything like that. Seems to be a fairly standard save-the-princess plot. The explanations for their powers are amusing in a very JRPG way.

The show is at its worst when it feels a need to hammer in the story - they're like the anime equivalent of unskippable cutscenes. But then you have the occasional bits of humor alongside the action - still marred by bad animation, most of the time, along with heavy exposition, all the time - and I dunno, it's appealing for some odd fucking reason.

The character designs have grown on me somewhat. Even the beachball tits. They're played more for laughs, I think. The show is at its best when tons of silly things are happening, and much of episode nine was a good example of that.

Also, Adele and Asama > *

What has the world come to when Yumi is considered moe enough to offset the raging lesbianism.

Offset? Raging pseudo-lesbianism is moe.

In regards to different poster about Maken-Ki, currently catching up on it and I wish I watched it before Majikoi. While this series isn't bad for a harem anime with blatant focus on lingerie and cameltoes, it seems so average.

At least with Majikoi, there are segments Miyako's non regulation porn game or that amazing discussion of western modesty with Chris.

Horizon - 10

It's amazing how dragged out things can get when motivational speeches and shonen explanations get inserted into every conflict.

Adele is so moe it hurts.

Yeah, that's actually been something I've noticed and have been pretty surprised about. I can't count how many times I saw awful QUALITY animation in season 1, but in this, even the QUALITY is at least par for the most part. Gonzo really must be putting alot into this. Counting on figurine sales maybe? I'd be damned if I wouldn't be tempted to buy a vanship model to build and paint...

If you can figure out what the following six characters have in common, then you'd know why they'd make perfect judges for the upcoming ISML Male Tournament.

Mafuyu Shiina (Seitokai no Ichizon)
Sena Akagi (Oreimo)
Hiyori Tamura (Lucky Star)
Erika Karisawa (Durarara!!)
Mio Naganohara (Nichijou)
Hana Oshiroi (Ben-To)

Mirai Nikki 9

This is seriously a fuckin good adaptation. The coin tossing scene was epic. As was Yuki's realization after saying
Yuno was his girlfriend.

They all love yaoi.

I hope everyone votes for Cloud because that would be fucking hilarious if he won.

Wait, the Infinite Stratos OVA is seriously subtitled "A Sextet Yearning for Love"? That's incredible.
And yet it will still probably be a really uneventful OVA about some obtuse guy piloting a gross looking mech.
