Why are there 2 different types of url for profiles?

It is because you haven't created your personal url yet.

• Go to "COMMUNITY" and be sure you are on the "home" segment of community.
• On the right, click "edit my profile."
• There will be a field labeled "Custom URL" underneath the Name/Summary portion of the profile
• Fill it in with whatever, and you're good to go!
