more money than God
Lakers should be a PnR machine with Nash & Pau/Howard.

If only there was a coach out there who could use that system, who knows how to, who practically mastered it over decades, is familiar with the Lakers, and desperate enough to push any buttons to win a title.

Who could that be, though?

Detroit is a team the lakers have to win against... if not... then yeah... it's time to panic.

not having Nash in the lineup should be fine...

the lakers really need a better backup pg behind nash.

Under the new anti-flopping rule:

Teams that don't flop now win.

Team that flop now lose.

Teams that sometimes flop, sometimes don't are 50/50.

David Stern has saved the NBA.

What are the clips and spurs records?

Pistons are trash

If the Lakers can't get it together against them yeah time to call Mac-10

Hardly.

They've had practically no practice time together.

Dwights obviously no where near his reported "100%". Guy is moving at around 70%.

And with them not knowing the offense/ basically treating live games as extra practice sessions, it could be really ugly until January.

In the mean time, i do fully support all the Laker trashing!

I'm excited about seeing Drummond and Monroe go up against a good front court too. If he gets time and good coaching I firmly believe Drummond will be a great player. He's a little soft for my liking, but if Detroit can't toughen him up then nowhere will.

I don't know

Nash Kobe and Pau have had plenty of time to practice together

D12 is still hurt

But with that team you have to beat teams like the pistons

Kobe missed a bunch with his foot thing.

So basically it was only Nash and Pau. And those were the only two that looked to have any chemistry.

And now Nash is out hurt.

I really don't expect them to be good until January, or late December.

Jerry would want front office access

Shit's gonna get ugly.....

Monroe tends to struggle against length.....

last year against Bynum and Pau, Monroe went 1-10 for 2 points....

Playing against Dwight is a bad match-up for him

Wut

Monroe just looks like he hasn't been interested in low post play at all. And the Pistons not interested in getting him in there.

Against the suns he spend the whole game shooting 15 foot jumpers. You know, basically the complete opposite of his game.

And thats against the dominant defensive monster front court of the suns.

He has always been more comfortable in the high post that is his game

I always considered him a low post guy, hence his lack of athleticism didn't affect him that much.

But i aint gonna put on airs here, i don't watch that many pistons games.
