Just don't overpay. Game is pretty limited, only 8 planes, limited fly area, no time-of-day, no weather except cloud settings and fog. It looks amazing though.

I like combining SMAA with downsampling and using it when there is no other option. But I never use the color/sharpen settings.

Okay, I asked for that. SMAA and AA that doesn't look like shit is fine as an injector. I was thinking more along the lines of all that Nintendo colours and whatnot.

At least the colours are 'optional' so to speak. FXAA is just being crowbarred in everywhere by all developers under the sun, some don't even offer anything but FXAA.

My main gripe is FXAA.

I used that SweetFX injector on BF3, and actually thought it didn't look bad for a few days, but I have seen the (not oversaturated) light as well and have gone back to just plain, good ol SMAA. All it took was seeing the game again without it. SweetFX was easy to get rid of, but I fear the shame I will have to live with =P

You can actually desaturate the colors with SweetFX if you wanted to. Or leave the colors as is. It's just a suite of pixel shader tools.

Color preferences are obviously a matter of taste, but I can't stand desaturated colors or crazy color casts anymore after they've been overused in game after game after game.

It's particularly galling in GW2. It's a fantasy game. Why the hell are the colors so desaturated? Bleeehhh!
