Quality voice acting, interesting characters, a unique and well utilized location and interesting choice sections. Unfortunately to list the rest of what makes it good, would be to spoil it. I wouldn't say it's the best game in the world. But it's so much better than the cover of the book implies and is a good military shooter, for people who have military shooter fatigue.

If you're someone who values story over gameplay, it's a steal for what it goes for today.

Most games implement it terribly yes. I'm not sure about crysis 2, all I remember is turning it off.

Planetside 2 is the only game I haven't turned it off in, because it is implemented absolutely perfectly. It's not directly noticeable while playing, but it is clearly visible in screenshots - just like in real life, not directly noticeable but clearly visible in photos.

The only motion blur that I have seen that I think looks good is Valve's implementation in Source Filmmaker which allows you to set the number of samples. It holds up in screenshots too.

You will be in shock to know that I actually desaturated colors even more!

It's just a bit of constrasting, fake HDR to pop lights more, some green tint removal, a tiny bit of vibrance, sharpening and it is downsampled with SMAA (I hate blurry AA options forced through drivers).
