Humor me. Who is starting at 2?

...

Kobe is starting @ 2.

Wade will play the same role as last time, spark off the bench.

I don't get why you seem to have your panties in a twist over it. With out wade the don't win the gold last time. He played a huge part of it.

Doesn't mean he has to start.

Spin move, spin move, eurostep, reach-around, fadeaway brick, fadeaway brick, fadeaway brick, wide open made layup going right, wide open bricked layup going left, reach-around, spin move, fadeaway brick....

I don't know how much longer I can stand watching Reke be the same exact player he was in college and since entering the league.

If Smart stays, I'll give Reke one more season before I declare him a proverbial bust.

Injured half of last season. Lockout, new coach, minimal practice sessions this season.

No more excuses for the 2012-2013 season.

Well, all the big name players he was compared to as a rookie all significantly improved by their third year. He's still the same player and below his rookie year stats wise.

Maybe he just needs to have his sweet roll taken so he realizes its not a free ride to superstardom.

I was arguing at whoever that guy was that posted the Kobe picture. Sorry that you got caught in the crossfire. Anyway Wade obviously should've started in 08 and he obviously will start this next one. Nothing to argue about, I agree.

Damn, you got heated up pretty fast. It was just a nice set up to post the "shh" pic of Kobe. Don't get all butt hurt all fast. And you say no help?

You haters will see.

First, Amare will recover mentally and physically and mesh with Lin, reactivating beast mode Amare from the first half of last year.

Then, he'll go visit the German doctor that made Cyberkobe this season, and the Dominican mystics that created Robobartolo Colon last baseball season, and he will become TimeSTAT circa 2003 again.

Watch!

Plan AX' will destroy all of you non-believers.

Can we take steph curry over rose?

edit - now I just remembered we almost had him for amare.... fuck

him and biedrins.

it also would have meant no WCF run in 09-10.

but i figure was should have currys ankles fixed so he can be rose's back up, and so we can play some minues with rose @ sg. To make sure their minutes don't pile up and they're fresh for the play offs.

It would be exhausting winning 6 chips in a row.

Well I did really enjoy that WCF run and we wouldn't have gotten Gortat if we didn't sign hedo but still always wanted steph curry on the suns.

I think the suns could have a shot at gordon though if the hornets don't offer him enough. We might overpay but who isn't these days.

Kobe started as a mere formality and almost lost us the game in the forth with his chucking. One dagger doesn't change that.

Kobe was directly involved in 14 of the last 16 points scored by Team USA to win the Gold. Either by scoring himself or by assist.

Not sure how he 'almost lost us the game' in the fourth 'with his chucking'.

At this point in time, i couldn't really care if we over pay for him. I'd love to have EG on the team.

Chad Ford and scouts finally coming around to what we've all been saying about Perry Jones

Everyone loves Perry Jones III's talent. But his game? More and more scouts are beginning to get off the bandwagon of Jones as a top-5 talent in this draft. Jones came into the season with huge expectations. Virtually everyone thought that if he stayed another year in school, he'd finally be able to utilize the incredible tools he has to dominate the game. After a very good start to the season, he's fizzled.

In key losses to top teams like Missouri, Kansas and Kansas State the past two weeks, Jones was a combined 5-for-26 from the field and pulled down just 14 rebounds. Even more shocking is the fact that, despite Jones' incredible length and athleticism, he hasn't had a blocked shot in eight games.

His inability to find a real position for himself at the college level, combined with a motor that rarely revs up, has more and more scouts convinced that Jones, while gifted, is more athlete than basketball player. While I have no doubt he'd go somewhere in the lottery if the draft were held today, he's slipping. If he doesn't get his act together quickly, the slide will continue.

I love how Ford keeps blaming PJIII's terrible play on his "lack of position." Jones has never shown any perimeter ability whatsoever, he can't pass, shoot, or dribble. He either will postup or isolate near the basket, that's how he scores all of his points and that's how Power Forwards play. Jones' abysmal defensive awareness still isn't getting enough attention either, dude looks like he's never watched a basketball game in most games.

Guess who:

I think Dwight to NJ was a done deal from preseason. I remember when the rumor first emerged, I posted in the thread. Jason Jackson said on a radio station that Dwight to NJ was a done deal. He said it from early, and he's a Heat guy. He actually works for the organization, and is the studio host for our games on SunSports. We're so close to Orlando, I thought it was worth posting. Especially since Jax isn't the kind to just spread a bunch of silly rumors.

During that interview, he was being very careful about what he said since the lockout was still on. He couldn't talk about Heat players, for example. But he volunteered the Dwight info. And he said it with confidence. He said it was a done deal and didn't back off it.

Given their cap situation, and the fact that they might be able to keep Brook, I think he's right. Dwight to Brooklyn sounds final, whether it's a trade or he walks. PEACE.

You know what this means.
