Without Rip producing well, they have no chance. It's the only thing that would have taken some pressure off of Rose.

I agree.

They can win most of their games in the regular season without Rip but won't in the playoffs.

I liked the Rip signing when it happened and liked it more when I saw the current version of Rip play(he still has something left, I wasn't positive he would as Chicago teams seem to often get stars past their primes) but I don't know, I can't see him staying healthy for the whole run.

Is it because he's skinny???

His age???

The style he plays???(running all over the court constantly)

As sad as this is, I think KORVER is going to have to contribute in the playoffs for the Bulls to win and that's never a guarantee.

I read that today but it's stupid asking Derrick that question as he's probably not going to admit it if it went down but all signs point to that not being something Derrick would do.

Boozer surely isn't affected by it, he praised Derrick's first game back.

Why would someone make that up though, does this happen often???

Who knows? According to Chris Sheridan it's the Spanish media who leaked first, so I'd say the source is quite dubious. :P

It would be a lateral move at best for both teams anyway. So maybe Rose made an offhand comment on how nice it would be to play with Pau and somebody jumped a few steps and spread the false rumor.

Yeah, true.

I could see Pau being mentioned and Rose praising him.

Boozer doesn't seem to play as well when Rose does but there doesn't seem to be any friction between them on or off the court and Rose wouldn't sell him out even if there was.

Or I don't think he would.

Don't worry man. LeBron and Bosh to the Bulls is a "done deal." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oowzX5on9jI&feature=related

Moral victory???

Only Bobcat and Wizards'(along with a few others) fans should see those as relevant.

im just setting my expectations really low, so if they do manage to win ill be extra hyped. the heat also got some rest yesterday so theres another disadvantage for the knicks.

60 degrees in fuckin february. i went to play ball with a few friends and i instantly remembered why i play football and soccer instead lol.

I don't know, I can't see the Knicks winning in any scenario in my head but some lesser teams have competed against the Heat this year so I could see it being close for a while.

It's a decent gauge though to judge where this "new" Knicks' lineup stands.

The Warriors beat the heat. That's all you need to know about them.

Lin is going to kill Mario and that other kid because they are too weak to guard him. The heat will be forced to put wade on him and the Knicks are going to run Wade into a ton of picks.

That other kid is Norris Cole. I think they'll play him straight up and clog the lane, but Lin is too good a passer not to feed his big men. Amare is key tonight.

ESPN said:
It's not hard coming up with dance partners, that's for sure. Send [Pau Gasol] to Houston for Luis Scola, Goran Dragic, Marcus Morris and Chase Budinger, and the Lakers suddenly fill four rotation spots with one deal while saving several million on luxury tax;

Who says no?

if lin inspires a win tonight i will officialy resurrect, nay TRANSLATE myself back into a knicks fan.
