Also, we're apparently in talks with Cleveland about Jamison too

MAKE IT HAPPEN

I don't give a fuck who/what we receive in return.

Dwight is honestly the biggest idiot superstar I've ever seen. The man wants to play in Chicago due to the weather, but he's fine in Brooklyn. You think Derrick is a no fun having meanie? Deron Williams, people. He wants to be the "man", but he's willing to be on the second team in New York. Does no one actually care about winning anymore?

Just for the record, it'd be insane to think Otis would trade him to MIA. He hates our fucking guts.

I think Mannix is mostly talking about if Dwight becomes a FA this summer, which is why the cap issues were mentioned.

He had another tweet saying Dwight doesn't want any team to be gutted to get him, HI MELO!

Wtf I've been saying Melo was a failure since day one, when this board used to make fun of me for not wanting to give up too much for him...

Yea and apparently he wants to wait to FA.

LOL.

I guess money is not important to him? The question is, what is though?

What did the Knicks give up that was so great?

What they gave up doesn't have to be viewed as great, Im of the mindset you don't gut your team unless it's for a center. Giving up 2 quality starters, and 2 other rotational players (Felton/Mozgov) was just stupid IMO, especially for a one dimensional scoring 3.

lol another stupid hypothetical. do you guys forget Dwight said "never" when it came to the Heat?

I wonder what caused that change of heart..

Probably the same thing that is important to LeBron: not being responsible when your team fails. Though to credit Dwight, he never runs away from the ball in the 4th quarter.

LOL

This guy is notorious for putting up monster stats in the first half and disappearing and/or sucking at the end of games. But blame it on Stan

He sees that the fans keep making excuses for LeBron no matter how poorly he performs and little heart he has, so he figures what does he have to lose.

So, he wants to be the "man", but he's willing to go the Clippers and the Heat?

I just don't get it. Why not Chicago? Why? It can't be marketing or city. Rose just signed a $260 Million contract with Adidas.

Idk but the Heat offer the best of all worlds. If we trade Bosh he can have the money, he can have the beach and the bitches, and he can have the chips. How could you refuse?

Yeah I laughed at this too.

Of course Dwight never misses the big shot, his teammates can't even pass him the god damn ball at the end of the game because he shoots 50% from the FT line.

If I'm not the best Knicks fan in this thread, I'd like to think I rank highly...or something like that.

Also, is there a link to this "D'Antoni wanted to get canned" thing?

Also, I think the "Melo = SF Iverson" parallel is pretty on point, in retrospect. If he was on a team surrounded by 4 average shooting, good to great defenders (and one of them was a very good pass-first PG), could that team win with Melo? I suppose that's exactly what his Nuggets teams were, though I'm not sure exactly how good his peers were on defense.

...fucking Knicks. :(

Trading Melo is still realistic. I don't even think the Wizards would trade Rashard for Amare.

Amare can still get 20 to 25 a night on a team that uses him correctly. Knicks do not. He still can't rebound or defend, though. Then again, I was pretty happy when the Suns didn't resign him (the only good move they've ever made besides signing Grant) because I knew he was on the downside of his career. Unless you are a SUPERSTAR, I think paying max money for anyone over 30 is just dumb.

Real GM Bulls is going on about a trade between Cletics, Bulls, and Warriors that would land Deng in GS, Ellis Boozer and Asik in BOS, and KG and Pierce in Chicago. If that's true, it looks like the Bulls are trying to salary dump Boozer or Deng.
