lol Deron Williams. New jersey will still be mediocre.
All they need is 45-50 wins to win the Atlantic and a top 4 seed. Totally doable in the East.

And to all the cap experts out there. Even with the rumored Howard trade, how would the Nets have the money to sign Howard with both JJ & DWill making max money and Wallace on a 40 million dollar deal?
They can't.
They can't.
Please land in Brooklyn, Dwight. I want to see more Branditears.

The Mavericks should go after Dragic and Mayo hard now.
haha, yeah, I know... only watching for JV, been a while since I've seen him play. At least it should be as entertaining as the GAB tonight.this game will be hype
I don't even understand why we're discussing this BS.lmao I hope Lin comes back to Houston, it would give something to be a little bit excited about next year. I still can't believe we cut him over Jonny fucking Flynn.
Was hoping Deron would've picked Dallas... Dirk deserves it.stay away from Nash, Cuban!
Mavs now enter the fray for Nash, as they always played to do if they lost out on D-Will, something Nash said he understood when FA began
There are only so many blue chip guys, and whoever doesn't get them ends up overpaying for mediocrity. Free agency is a hard way to build a winning team unless you@JeromeSolomon Everyone else buying Boardwalk, Park Place, Pacific Ave.,Daryl Morey is buying Baltic Avenue #MoreyMonopoly
Guess the In Morey We Trust thing is dead?
Nets should be fun to watch this year now.
The Magic getting blown up should open up a playoff spot for your Wizards too.

Yeah, Dwight might want to head to NJ/BK even more now that Deron is officially staying on... but how much leverage does he have left (if any)?
Dallas just playing out the next 2 seasons so they can sign LeBron and Bosh.
he still holds all the cards with not resigning... and he gains more leverage if he stays on the roster until the season starts...

Plus I'm not sure it's even possible for Brooklyn to fit Dwight into their cap.
But he doesn't have the leverage to say "trade me to Brooklyn or I'll go there in the offseason!" because they now have zero cap room. He can only be traded there, and why would Orlando do that when the Rockets' or Lakers' have better offers? Plus I'm not sure it's even possible for Brooklyn to fit Dwight into their cap.

They have; on Mirza Teletovic.NJ can still trade for Howard. There's no hard cap unless you use the non-taxpayer mid-level exception... which to my knowledge, the Nets haven't.
