As nice as it would be to see Dwight on the Lakers, if he comes there without an extension, it will be a HUGE distraction. Howard has a shit game? Media will be all over whether that will affect his decision to re-up. It would be pretty awful, from a media scrutiny perspective.

But we would still want him so long as his back heals correctly...

Hennigan is a real smooth talker.

Basically called the Nets offer (and Brook Lopez) fucking garbage in the most polite GM-speak kind of fashion.

if dwight is staying, why would they let Anderson leave? That seems fucking stupid...

Orlando is a mess right now. The team isn't that good with him. holy fuck at that franchise. Knicks no longer big salary laughing stock.

To be fair Nicholson kinda brings the same toolset...

and Anderson wasn't that good...

They are going to trade Dwight well before the season starts.

Hennigan isn't going to force himself to take a shitty trade just to end a little soap opera. It's the right move really.

probably, but he said the door was open for a return. Wish he didn't say that..

i honestly give up trying to figure out what is going on.

Time to see if Lakers bring in Hill or anyone else. Wouldn't mind Jodie Meeks.

It really isn't.

The team is stuck in a holding pattern now. The new coach you hire has no clue what he has to work with. The GM has no idea what other moves to make because any move could cripple potential trades.

That's not even taking Dwight's soap opera daily drama and nonsense. They should have traded him at last year's deadline instead of pushing for him to opt in.

What a mess.

Yeah he's going to see if HOU or LAL can up their offers. But it does screw up the roster building of both his team and whoever is involved in the Howard trade eventually. Specifically HOU. It's hard to build a roster around the dual scenarios of Howard coming and going full tank

This Andersen was by far their second best player and despite being a good rebounder needs a shot blocker and a driving or post threat to hide his issues and get him good shots.

You don't have to "build a roster" to tank. You sign young guys and old bums. Tanking isn't hard at all no matter how much DY likes to pretend otherwise.

Lakers fans would obviously cheer, but I don't want to see anyone else who hated the idea of JJ/Deron/Dwight suddenly loving the idea of Nash/Pau/Kobe/Dwight.

Tony Mejia: I'll reiterate, odds great DH is dealt, but what's been reported incorrectly is #Magic can't wait to be rid of him. Anything but emotional. 1 minute ago
la/houston/orlando 3 way makes the most sense, hennigan. you fuck.

Why you hating a squad made up of over-the-hill-veterans + Dwight?

They are no threat to anybody. They are old, so very old.

Or do you just hate all old people? Hopw about your grandparents? That's not cool.

Just let them play together and do their thing. Nobody will care. It'd probably be very boring... because they're old.
