If the Pacers had a true PG they'd be much more fun to watch. They just have to make due with what they have, despite the hate.

They can pass really well 1 series then completely stall the next, maybe with another ill-advised baseline drive that gets picked off when thrown back to the key.

Stop taking everything so personally. Damn. Every single person who starts posting here in the playoffs and starts rooting for a team that is doing well is called a bandwagoner. Get over it. Stop being so sensitive and roll with the bunches, damn.

Spo is not the problem. If he ends up losing his job I can honestly say that it wasn't his fault. The front office has surrounded him with shit and overpaid players. Wade and Lebron are too similar to one another and a new coach won't be able to remedy that.

When have they ever passed well? They can't even do it for one full game. Their team passing is terrible. They routinely struggle to hit West of all people. He's one of the easiest passes on the league.

You guys all know how big of a Kobe fan i am...so I'm delighted today that less than 24 hours after Kobe melted down and gave the game away...Wade had a 5/5 game and Bron didn't put any assertiveness into last nights game...


I guess Scotty Brooks was right when he said Kobe's the best player in the league (even if he was just trying not to give Kobe motivation for tonight)

No idea what you're talking about except that I couldn't go into detail about certain problems you had with the way the offense was run (oh no, Hibbert who can pass really well, and hit jumpers from 18 feet goes out there to set screens, why??) because I was responding to 5 different people at once.

I've posted in this thread a few times during the regular season. I just don't post much period. I meant to make a comment or 2 and make my leave like usual. It got all uppity in here, which I certainly helped with. I could see why people would think I am a bandwagoner, but it's not the case, at all.

But here is my question, why does it matter if people think you're a bandwagoner? Why does that upset you? It's the equivalent of going into a bar during a world series game and telling everyone how you're a life long Yankee fan and being laughed at. Roll with the punches man.

Their ball movement is underrated. They're terrible at feeding the post for stretches, but there's a reason George and Granger and Collison were able to shoot the 3 at good %'s, the quick swing around left them wide open looks. They weren't chucking those while in ISO. Hibbert is underrated as a passer, so when the Pacers go to him and he holds the ball it looks more stagnant than it really is.

And West is still used effectively in the PnR, and gets plenty of good looks. He's not scoring 20 a game in the playoffs because he's getting a bad entry pass and a bunch of people watching (though his offensive arsenal in the post is impressive). He gets a lot of kick outs for open jumpers, which means penetration and ball movement in and back out of the lane.

I feel you man. Kobe goggles distort my vision but I don't see how anyone outside of KD can be argued above him amd even then I'm always going Mamba baby.

it's worse because Lb's team could only fuckball on one side, but they were masters at it. This team does it on both sides.

More honest note, I think Lebron is being bullied and he doesn't like it but also unsure how to deal with it other than fading away when he's needed. Again.

I should move on from talking about this. But I'm not truly upset and sitting her fuming. I'm calmly typing on a keyboard and sending similar comments back. I even stopped doing that because it's not how I usually am, and I didn't like people thinking I was a douche. I just never found bandwagon jokes that funny, because the city of Indianapolis is notoriously a bandwagon city. It's a worthless comment that provides nothing, but I responded anyway, so that's on me.

Again, this is a bad metric to be the end all be all of passing. They play good team ball, and you have to be able to pass to do that. They don't have ISO players, and they score more than league average, so obviously the passing is there.

No problem but just realize that this is one of the least 'insular' threads if you will. There are inside jokes if you will but thats about it. We love basketball, love talking about it, love watching it, love debating it, and love hazing each other regarding it. Don't take it personal.

The Pacers' assists are deflated by the insane amount of free throws they shoot, but it's not like Hibbert or Granger are good passers and they don't start a real PG or playmaker.

So I played Diablo 3 last night for 40-50 minutes.

I chose Demon Hunter and I have no idea whats going on in the universe....it was really hard to get myself to stop and go to bed.
