We need a 2 guard that can create his own offense and shoot. That's pretty much impossible to find in free agency, but I've got high hopes we'll find that guy in this year's draft.

That wasn't the narrative NBA GAF spun when Dallas signed him. They kept on referencing his Milwaukee numbers even though he had to play on a shit team with Brandon Jennings running the offense. It's early though. He's been impressive nonetheless.
It's almost like there's a huge difference playing with Dirk as opposed to Brandon Jennings.
Monta is amazing when he has a real coach and players on his team (like Dirk now) that he respects. Great place for him.

He really is a poor man's D Wade which isn't a bad compliment.
Imagine if CP3 played with Dirk or Duncan. Not fair at all.
Also he's greatly reduced his 3 point attempts, which is huge. He's a deadly mid-range shooter, but he's awful behind the 3 pt line for whatever reason lol
Blair has been surprisingly good so far too. I guess the one disappointment has been Ellington, he's not going to get much playing time if he keeps taking such bad shots.
