2013 Jan NBA Season lOT2| What Would Kobe Chu?

People talking about Kobe needs to do this more often weren't paying attention. He was doing this plenty while Bernie was the coach. Then D'antoni came in and started running the offense through Morris then Duhon then Nash.

The real damn tragedy is that the other 3 big name players on our team aren't commanding double teams or running the PnR effectively. Nash should be getting 12 assists a game.

Kobe can get assists any game he wants but D'Antoni's system is to use a PG with a big in PnR and use Kobe on the wing.

These last two games look a lot more like the offense LA was running under Bernie which says a lot about how bad Nash has been at running this team effectively or causing defenses to scramble and leave guys open.

YNB being a fucking idiot is largely what cost OKC the game, you could see their defensive intensity start to slip further into the 4th quarter;

standing around watching neo-Steve Francis dribble 45 times every possession tends to do that

KD was 10-26 and missed a few big shots in the 4th

Kobe assisting isn't going to keep up, not because he'll suddenly start passing less, but because the people he passes to won't be able to finish as well as they have. then he'll start passing less again.

and the past two wins i feel like Metta is not getting enough credit. the guy has been crucial.

Just woke up and found out about Rondo. Do we have enough time for a decent tank job?

It would take some (lack of) effort, but yes. Start now, and they might slide in behind Charlotte, Washington, Cleveland, and pick a team out west in the lottery pecking order. That's best case. Phoenix, Sacramento, New Orleans, Orlando

They tried this with Kobe and d'antoni too. But teams would ignore Morris And Duhon and it forced Kobe to do too much and get lots of turnovers.

Note how these two games players have been scared to leave Nash and when they do he kills em.

There is a lot more spacing now. Mda did this offense before Nash came back. That said, I don't think this is sustainable. Nash will need to carry more or the load. A key is moving pau more to the elbow in and stop posting up Dwight. That has been more important these two games.

Hollins is being being his usual dumbass self tonight. For some reason he has decided not put DA on Anderson all the time and has continuously had Bayless initiate the offense. Man is a fucking moron.

Still can't get over Doris Burke accidentally breaking the news to Pierce on live television. So brutal.

Don't understand why giri and other guys in this thread love Gordon and Gay so much.

Both guys are the 4th best player on their teams at best.

Austin Rivers actually has realized that he sucks at basketball and tried on defense. He might turn his career around to be the 8th man he has the athleticism to be.

Then again, his FT% is 12 points lower than Dwight's rookie year FT% and he's a SG.

Chandler needs to get in the paint and stop worrying about Horford's jumpshots.

Teague is really hurting them.
