What is going on with the Sounders the last two weeks? Luckily I wasn't able to catch the game last night but it was nice to see Zakuani made it in as a sub.

Hrm. Two of those days on the finals aren't good for me... Hopefully I won't be working on matchday, if a game is held in Portland. Or hopefully someone will cover for me.
Thank God for the final whistle. We were pressing forward, but so was D.C. and I was nervous. We stayed solid and didn't break though. That was a win we definitely shouldn't have dropped at home. Still in the hunt for the SS.

Sounders and FC Dallas playing right now, national broadcast on NBC and it's just the luck of MLS. The more prestigous team is in terrible form right now, the pitch is sullied with football yard markers and there is hardly anyone in the stands due to Dallas being out of the playoffs and the weird kickoff time.
If I was unfamiliar with MLS and saw this airing after watching Premiere League coverage I would assume soccer is still a joke in the US and not tune in for very long.
