It was a reactionary and stupid trade but the negatives wont be as bad as some of you are wishing for. The Knicks are essentially adding AB to what they already have. And if Woodson plays him off the bench like he did with Novak/Cope he could be a positive. Losing yet another pick was moronic but a mid first round pick 3 years from now isn't the end of the world.
And on the plus side Novaks contract was a year longer than Melo/Stat/Tysons. Only thing on the books for 2015 right now is Feltons 5 mil player option. I hope we blow it all up and tank for dra... fuck.

Wow. Great pickup by the Knicks if they can get Ellis since he's pretty much like Dwayne Wade but without the chips.
You're nuts. Brooklyn got rid of Gerald's terrible deal. Pierce and KG expire next summer. Bargnani is a net negative while Pierce and KG needed a trade like this to light a fire under their ass.

Terrible fucking idea. It's so hard to pull for any Charlotte team with bullshit like this. They should be starting Biyombo at center and Zeller at PF so those two can get a lot of playing time in. Keep in mind that the team is still fucking paying Diop, Tyrus Thomas, and Ben Gordon as well.
Also there was speculation that Humphries might end up with the Bobcats.
anytime you can overpay a one way player to try to pursue the 8th seed while taking playing time away from your developing youngsters, you gotta do it
