Made no sense that Rose did not play the last 5-7 season games, he had nothing to lose, nobody was going to judge him on those games anyway, it would have been good for him to test himself and see how he does. He could have played 15 min a game, just see how he does, if he is ready for the playoffs etc

Now it just comes across as he is mentally fragile, like he is scared that he is not the player he used to be. The Bulls with him even at 80% would still be a force, but no.

Eventually he has to come back, eventually people all around the league will look at you, whether its now or next season, so why does it matter?

Disappointing but expected

Well, the Adidas deal changed Young Rose from an athlete to a celebrity. Playing basketball is hard. Why do it if you don't have to?

There are going to be plenty of booing peppered in whenever he decides to play basketball again.

idk i think its like others have said he is out to take care of himself. The bulls aren't building to win it this year so why take the chance. Next year they can be right back in the hunt and he can come in rhythm. Whereas he rushes now and ends up like parker or worse.

Miami's got better since that series two years ago, on the offensive end, Chi got worse. Rose has no reason to come back, the Bulls arent contenders. and I think the Bulls doing nothing at trade deadline has alot to do with Derrick doing what he's doing. why is Nate Robb the best scorer on that team? why the fuck was Korver allowed to walk when the guy is dirt cheap? why was CJ Watson let go? I can understand Asik, he's kind of pricey.

You and I both know how scummy New Yorkers are, peterb0y, but that was still pretty disheartening to see.
