He's usually level-headed on things, and as a decent gambler, he's better with the actual sports discussion than most radio hosts. He stays pretty well-informed. I like him, but don't usually have time to listen. PEACE.

Probably because he slurps Lebron 24/7?

I have a hard time imagining Kobe winning more than 1 or 2 rings with Jordans teams though.

Because he can't outplay Clyde or Reggie? He'd win at least 4 in the watered down 90's era with those Bulls. Probably win 5

man this is the first friday since October that it hasn't been any games on. Ain't shit on tv to watch.

LeBron says he can be a 50/40/90 player if he wanted too.
What if the best player on the planet ... got better? LeBron James told reporters Friday that if he put the work in, he could become a 50-40-90 shooter: 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from 3-point range, 90 percent from the line.

LeBron says can shoot 90 percent from foul line, 50 pct from field and 40 percent on 3-pointers if makes it a goal:

“I can achieve anything if I just make it a goal of mine,'' James said. "I never made it a goal of mine. If I decided to do it, I can make it happen.''

via Chris Tomasson's post on Miami Heat | Latest updates on Sulia.

James shot 56 percent from the field this season and a career-best 41 percent from 3-point range, but he shot just 75 percent from the free-throw line. He has been tinkering with his free-throw form all year, trying to emulate Ray Allen.

MVP runner-up Kevin Durant finished second for the scoring title, shooting 50-40-90, and the mark is generally considered to represent the elite of shooting production.

What would a move to 90 percent from the line mean for James? A point more per game, from 5.3 points per game from free throws to 6.3. The only player to ever do anything comparable with his overall production is Larry Bird, who averaged 28 points, nine rebounds and eight assists at 50-40-90 in 1987. Which, by the way, is completely insane.

It's a pretty strong sign that James still has his eyes on improving his game. He's adapted a post game, improved his 3-point shooting, gotten better at defense and become better at running an offense. The idea of him improving is just ... incredible.

So why doesn't he? Because there's only so much he can give to maintain his skills and keeping his body in condition without risking an overload. Maybe this is the absolute best he can be. It's certainly the best he needs to be to win titles. But if he can manage to tweak and adjust, just get a little more out of his game, then it's less of a needed accomplishment and more proof of just how much mastery he has.

Either way, he's not lacking for confidence in that ability, and maybe that's the important part.

He'll have a 60/40/90 season next year, you know, if he wants to.

For you. I don't tell you to turn off the cornball country music in your car, so don't tell me what I can listen to in mine. PEACE.

You're bumping that new Nelly - Porsche track ALL. DE. TIME. in your Toyota convertible, aren't you?

What a turd of a song gawdamn

lol.

If LeBron could shoot 90% from the line, it would've happened. He's not a 50/40/90 guy. His stroke will never get there.

Not that it matters much, but still.

I'm not telling you what to listen to, but praising Cowherd for being level-headed is pretty absurd when he baseless speculates on the murders of NFL players and implies that players without dads can't be leaders:

Nothing is stopping Melo from a title save for his own mediocrity.

Yeah this makes no sense.

why do you defend melo so much effzee?

Its not even that I care for Melo or the Knicks. Live in NYC and root for the Sixers :(

But of all the reasonable debate or negativity towards Melo, none comes from Colin Cowherd. In fact its funny how every NBA analyst he has on disagrees with him about Melo. I only care to counter him because he is a moron, has no idea what he is talking about, and brings up the dumbest analogies to explain away his moronic opinions.

Also because I am forced to listen to him at work since they always have ESPN radio on and his show is played in the NY market from 10am to 12pm. So day after day its another rant about Melo and how his psychology isn't right, how he is selfish, how his life off the court leads to him not winning on the court. Haven't heard any race baiting shit about Melo and I doubt he is a racist, but he makes the dumbest analogies from sports to real life.

What the fuck at the bank robbery analogy?

Dude brought up Isiah and Jason Kidd in comparison to Wall doing the dougie? Two people accused of wife beating and/or sexual assault/harassment?

Yup but anything for his analogies to work.
