I would take Argentina just slightly a bit over NED only because Messi rooting but either against Germany would be an amazing final. Brazil being in would be amazing for the atmosphere and would also make it more bittersweet for them to lose because it's on home soil. Either way, we have some incredible futbol ahead of us and that's not even counting the 3rd place game.

Sympathy and all but Germany is here with a dream of their own. I would have already thought Germany would win even with Neymar/Silva. It should still be a good game. Brazil ain't no scrub team. And that atmosphere.

I honestly think both, since neither park the bus and try to play attacking football. The Dutch team always plays better against big nations and during this world cup we like to use counter football which is perfect against both.
Besides, LVG and Robben know the german side best. So i'm certain they will come up with a good strategy.
Neither is ready for the power of Van Gaal.

1-Netherlands (the group matches were fun, best manager)
2-Brazil (some hiccups but got the job done, I have high respect for Scolari)

Too much money. Doesnt feel like he needs to play anymore. No team wants him.
Brazil cant park the bus even if they wanted. Crazy wing defenders will fuck it up every time.
Colombia played scared in the first half.
Second half they got their shit together and almost came back.
Worst thing you can do is play scared of Brazil. I dont think germany will do that tho.

Weird mood at university today. I feel like many Germans don't think they'll win this semifinal. But if I know one thing about Germans, it's that they always believe everything will go wrong in the future. My neighbour also told me he doesn't believe they'll win. And it's raining all day here so public viewing will be a pretty nasty affair.

I'm sticking with my Germany vs Argentina prediction from before the tournament started. It's a shame there are some key injuries and suspensions on the Brazil and Argentina sides. I hate not seeing teams at full strength this late in the competition.
