Eh, any guard in the league should be able to do this to any big. It's just physics.
The question is what the hell is wrong with the pelican's defensive scheme to where AD has to come out and pressure the ball.
To be fair, AD was on the perimeter blocking threes earlier
Also to be fair he was *this close* to recovering and blocking that shot.
I still think the Pelicans have questionable defensive scheming and subpar perimeter defenders.

Oh, the defensive scheme is awful for sure, but AD's defense is really a sight to see. What were the odds of him being DPOTY?
Dallasites that have watched him since high school always knew he had ridiculous talent. I always wondered why he didn't get minutes backing up KD - PJ3 has length, shooting and a handle.

That full court sprint at 1:40 is just amazing. He is one of the most athletic players i have ever seen play.
I think if he can grow into his body at all, he is going to be a very special player.
He was a better defender at Kentucky than AD, as crazy as that sounds.
I also think people are wrong about him being a defensive specialist, he has decent post moves and a soft touch around the rim, he just physically doesn't have the bulk to post anybody up. He is also a great passer and playmaker. He will be an above average offensive player just off cleaning up trash and offensive rebounding, anyway, even if he never actually develops an offensive game.
I still think it was crazy that he dropped to 6th in the draft. Even with a bum knee, he is almost guaranteed to be better than most of the guys drafted ahead of him even if he did only turn out to be a defensive specialist. Oladipo is the only one in that group who has even proven they belong in the league, much less that they were a better prospect than Noel.
