Still sounds like there could be problems.
Yeah I remember all the problems during the 2010 Olympics.

I expect the game to be called fairly. Anything less than complete impartiality is unacceptable.Still sounds like there could be problems.
It was a disaster in Nagano when Canada was in tough in the semi finals and the Canadian refs bailed them out. Poor Czechs got robbed.Yeah I remember all the problems during the 2010 Olympics.
There's gonna be Canadian refs for the final tomorrow?
Sounds like disaster in the making.
lol
how come this has never been an issue before now? Canadians refs have been used in every final.
.... Canadian refs and players are actually reverse vampires! It all make sense now.Wait... wait a second. Canadians have, allegedly, the best players. Canadians also, allegedly, have the best refs. These refs are present both in the NHL and international competitions where Canadian players excel. Maybe, perhaps, these Canadian refs are planted in power positions () in order to always give the advantage to Canadian players!by some ominous shadow hockey government??

The officiating in the women's games was questionable, but it's been pretty solid on the men's side.
I went and checked, and yep, in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics final hockey match, both referees and one linesman were Canadian. The other linesman was Finnish.
Sweden needs to stop whining, not even the USA whined about this crap.
And the ref in the Women's Final was British.
Clearly.
And where is our stanley cup then
Unless there's evidence of bias you or anyone can actually show us, this is a completely stupid thing to talk about.
There haven't been questions about impartiality until now. Sigh.
Generally being held aloft by Canadian players in various American cities.
we have to learn that we can't annex america by implanting all our talent there
Still sounds like there could be problems.
They didn't have enough players from the Sens.Where was yo intensity at US? WHERE??
They didn't have enough players from the Sens.
SO INTENSE!!!!Ah the hotbed of intensity.
:lol
Hopefully this guy is not out on a murder spree, he has some issues.
Congrats Finland. At least one Flame will medal tomorrow. <3 Backs. Or not.
One more crime against hockey for the man they call Floppa. #sad
Yes I'm still salty about forsberg, never liked him much lol.
It is kind of amusing that even with hockey being their biggest sport, the Canadians can't support an independent domestic league on par with the NHL.
LMAOIt's kind of amusing that you know fuck all about the NHL

Did anyone see this in the women's game?
WTF? Tell me that was called a penalty?
UmOne of the fuck alls I know is that most of the franchises still seemed to be based in the US.
The hell are you talking about?Nesotenso said:I am more of a soccer fan and it is a comparable situation with the Canadian federation not setting a domestic league, struggling with Canadians getting minutes in the MLS, then wondering what the fuck wanted when Martinique not recognised by FIFA beats them.

Obviously finding minutes for Canadian talent is less of an issue with the NHL.

Is this US fans trying to feel better about their team, because Finland was outplayed badly in the semifinal. They like 1 good scoring chance.

There's an NHL team in almost every major Canadian city. The US has ten times the population that we do. It only makes sense that they'd have more teams.
