Go ahead and install it. Handling has been tweaked, it now includes weather, bikes, monster trucks, drag cars, drift races and arenas ala Trackmania.

Here's a comparison of a random spot between the old and the new graphics. First picture are the old graphics, second picture are the new graphics. It's does still have it's ugly spots.

Seems like a significant upgrade.

So in your opinion, it's not a great looking game, since you just called it "decent looking".

Yes it is just a decent looking game. There may be 1 or 2 amazing looking games this generation but they certainly haven't arrived yet. It's better than the lot of terrible looking games that have been pushed out this gen. It's a step in the right direction but it's far from amazing.

I'm tired of people saying this. There is absolutely nothing amazing about it. There are less players than BF4 and there is no destruction. That cuts down significantly on the computing requirements. It is not amazing at all.

Plus Battlefront has PBR. Which makes pretty much everything look a LOT better.
PBR is one of the best things to come to gaming from a graphics standpoint in a while. And as far as I know it has little impact on performance.

But it is absolutely something special. There are lesser players but there is more geometry, more movement, more foliage and graphical effects. This destruction you talk of, you do realise that BF4 didn't really have much destruction outside of the levolution stuff which was all pre computed. Even Battlefront has trees breaking down and things like that in Endor map.

The game is considerably superior in terms of rendering compared to BF4, lower player count and pared back destruction won't put anything against it when it is also doing more in other areas...especially when you consider the fact that Battlefront also runs much better than BF4.
