Did you take those while running it at 4k or did you just use the commands? If commands, then how'd you get the engine to preserve motion blur on shot/highresshot?

Two of mine:

No I just set it to launch in 4K and took screenshots as normal with fraps

What programs do you use to take these screenshots? They are WAY too sharp and clear. When I use FRAPS, they turn out washed out.

First, I use a Sweetfx graphics mode. Second, I use the screenshots tool included with Sweetfx/ReShade. Does a way better job than Fraps!

You're breaking my heart, man :(

you could spawn a bear there with the console though. that's probably what they did

Anyways, something about the lighting in Kaer Morhen just looks like shit to me. When I arrived there, this is what it looked like...

I'm finding this to be the most unattractive location in the game so far.

Really? That's probably my favorite lighting in the game, maybe because it's the most normal. Granted that picture doesn't look too hot but I think the untouched game is pretty ugly and flat in general. Are you using reshade at all? Just swapping out the game's default bloom with the gaussian bloom makes a big difference.

Velen is the worst IMO. It's so yellow and saturated it's almost impossible to fix with reshade without making the rest of the game colorless.

Well that's just it. The lighting in Kaer Morhen is very harsh and flat by default. I'm not a very skilled tweaker though so even though I'm using ReShade, I can't seem to fix the look of that area :(

They really killed the look they had going on in this bullshot.

Ohhh man, that's just awesome, soooo many games have awful banding all over the place. Sure there's a little loss in detail depending on the scene/lighting but it's just what we needed. Can't wait for the author to release it.

I also tried the demo and it was breathtaking, i'm sure everybody already seen this as a video but running it in realtime? ohh man it's a different feeling. CGI quality here! But that was the first time my eyes bleed from the horrible ammount of CA, not when you view the demo but when you gain control over the camera and look around. UE4 is amazing and i hope developers make good use of it in the near future.

Does Metal Gear Rising offer 4k resolution?? I am thinking about getting it and just curious if it has a 4k resolution option???

It does not, but there are ways around it.
Read One3rd's comment on the bottom here, you need widescreenfixer (edit: it's Flawless Widescreen, not Widescreen Fixer) for it to work with ReShade:

If you don't care about ReShade, check Dario ff's post here:

Both work.

I use fraps (screenshot to bmp, I use the free fraps version, then use faststone to convert them to png's, lossless), never washed out gfx. Fraps, sweetfx, reshade, steam... they all grab the framebuffer when you press the magic screenshot key, so if something is washed out, it is likely caused by something that's been done after that.

I develop in UE4, mostly for VR, and like to browse around once a month at what other people are doing. Holy smokes what the ArcVis community is doing with that engine is absolutely nuts. These are too much to push in VR at 90Hz right now, but to think that this level of visual fidelity will be available in VR within 5 yrs is amazing.

Here are two from the Lift London Demo. No forced AA or downsampling. Just 1080p + UE4 Temporal AA:
