2015 PC Screenshot Thread of the Only Place Where Compression Isn't

Witcher 3/Reshade Framework/custom preset

Bit late to the hanged man's tree party but here's my version.

Jimmy, you using bloom in ReShade, not ingame, right? Can you share you settings? That last two screenshots have very nice and decent bloom. Thanks!

I just learned that the below keybind works as well. If you just want to remove the persistent HUD from the screen ( it doesn't remove contextual combat HUD elements) this should work if you place it in the ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Origins\SinglePlayer\BMGame\Config\BmInput.ini file under the [BmGame.RPlayerInput] section.

Code:
Bindings=(Name="F1",Command="ToggleGfx")

PM me if any questions.

I read about this technique a long time ago and some people said it only works for Arkham City so I never tried it. Seems to work fine now, thanks again :)

Thanks. But... wow. That's bloomy. And I have in-game bloom off. Here's a comparison:

It's the Ambient Light shader in "GemFX_settings". If you want to make the bloom less bright you can lower "#define alInt" from 12f to something like 5f or whatever looks best for you :)

Just installed ReShade for the first time, is there a guide to configuring SMAA/AA in general? Most search results are presets that include other tweaking but I'm just looking for getting AA working nicely with The Witcher 3.

Tried Nvidia's FXAA and MFAA AA overrides via its Control Panel but wasn't pleased with either (FXAA is great but distorts text edges and MFAA is only so-so). Looked into Nvidia Inspector for SGSSAA, after reading it's better, but apparently it's only compatible with DirectX 9 and requires finding the right driver bit code per game.

Thanks to Auto-Reply and changing #define SMAA_EDGE_DETECTION to 3 (eliminating text distortion) I have ReShade working. Sadly the lack of a custom screenshot directory and the screenshot keybinding being fixed to PrintScreen means I practically can't use it.

Is there no way to change these two settings?

What's wrong with screenshots being saved in the game's root folder? As of now I don't think there's a way to save them to another directory.
As for changing the screenshot key, that's possible but I don't remember how it's done on the Framework version since I've never had to change it.
But however I did change it back when there was only MasterEffect Reborn, just look around the different files and you'll probably find the value that needs to be changed, or ask at the official ReShade forums.

It's just disorganized for how I use it. I keep all screenshots from games neatly within Pictures, with sub-directories for each game, which allows me to add it to a Windows Library so they're all two clicks away.

From a post on the ReShade forums the main dev Crosire mentioned it was hardcoded in, so I'm not sure if that has changed in three months. Looked in both the ReShade settings and SweetFX but didn't find any reference to change it. May ask about it/suggest it there. Sorry about filling up the topic with text, didn't know of a better thread :p

I swear this thread is the worst when it comes to people wanting to be at the top of the page for some reason :P
Let me help everyone with a skyrim shot then ;)

Went back to Skyrim after completing DA:I. What a step back that was... (graphically).

(edit) shit, I now see the freaking cursor is still in the image! Amateur hour at best. I'll do better next time.

My first witcher 3 shots. Using Jim's reshade settings. Unfortunately I get like 3 fps at 1800p or above so I probably won't take too many shots until I get better graphics cards. These gtx 470's are killing me.
