2015 PC Screenshot Thread of the Only Place Where Compression Isn't

Yeah but Flawless doesn't work for the debug camera, correct? Or is that the Cutscene FOV value that refers to the debug camera FOV?

It doesn't work once you've paused a scene, was a bit annoying more than a few times when I had a shot laid out but no way to change FOV (especially in a dynamic scene). Last couple shots from it.

The game is fun and photomode has all you could need, filters aren't too shabby either when you dial back intensity. You can fly a pretty good distance out from Max too, great for doing these expansive landscapes with him in it. Aspect ratio is locked at 16:9 but aside from that no problems.

[s]Thank you so much - much appreciated.[/s]

EDIT: Wait, it doesn't work. When using the debug camera *even without pausing the scene*, the FOV alterations through Flawless Widescreen don't work.

Sorry I didn't mean to get your hopes up by saying "pause" as far as I know there is no way to change FOV when using debug camera -at all-. You have to set the FOV in Flawless Widescreen before you start using the camera, that's the only method I know.

No need to apologize, thank you very much for all the help.

I just now figured out that I can simply use the R_forceaspectratio command in the console to adjust the FOV in debug mode. The higher the number, the closer the camera will be. So now it works perfectly fine :) Thanks!

Nice shots but they'd look even better with some AA.

Aside from in game AA and downsampling, is there a reliable way to inject AA into the Witcher 3? I tried setting up sweetFX for SMAA, but I wasn't sure if it works with their engine. Got other effects up and running, but AA never seemed to work.

Downsample as high as you can go with driver smaa(RadeonPro)/FXAA (NVCP/NI) on top of the in game AA

Yes reshade, sweetfx, Reshade Framework all work with the game. I find the SMAA in reshade works well and I can disable it in-game. As Bonkers said, force it through your video card, especially Anisotropic Filtering. In-game sharpness on the lowest setting also helps.

It's also something that you wouldn't expect going in. Always better to be respectful, especially on release day.

Fare enough. I honestly would have thought that anybody that wouldn't want spoilers for a game that's just out would avoid a gaming forum but I'll delete them if that's how the people of this board feel about it.
