2015 PC Screenshot Thread of the Only Place Where Compression Isn't

Thanks! Not sure how much I'm going to go in this game but still have a couple of ideas percolating.


Beautiful game but also one that suffers from the worst pacing issues I've ever seen. Every level is about 2-3 times as long as it needs to be which leads to a lot of repetition, not just of gameplay, but visual elements.

If Alice had been a 6-8 hour thing, it would have been a lot better off. Shame, as there's some genuinely neat stuff buried away in there.
 
These are using Reshade Framework but I just started playing with ENB installed and holy shit talk about a night and day difference. For those that have seen it know what I mean but my advice is if you haven't played this yet, do yourself a favor and don't even bother with Sweetfx or Reshade. The only downside is that you can't get rid of the HUD for screenshotting if you use ENB with the Director's cut version.

Apologies for the recent Deus Ex screenshot overload but I think the game's look is pretty cool and stylized. I've taken so many grabs and I have a hard time deciding which ones to post. Just a handful more and that'll be it..got a few ENB ones too.

Yeah, those are amazing. Just imagine if they had kept the game locked at 720p, we'd never have seen that. Truly, resolution locking is a crime against humanity.

Just a personal advice/request, you are using download links for your pics, people that have disabled images in the Gaf control options (like me) are forced to download the images when clicking on such links. I stop clicking on any further links provided by that user because it's annoying (Photobucket is equally annoying by always redirecting to the Photobucket website, I avoid that too).
So it would be cool if you use direct links, the address copied an pasted that you see when opening your picture in a seperate window.
If that's too much clicking around for you (I could understand that) it's ok too :)

You mean: the effects you have at your disposal? Or the experience e.g. with the UI etc.? Most shaders in reshade are currently (sometimes sloppy) ports from all over the place but a lot of the shaders available for ENB are ported in one fashion or another. (albeit not all of them)

yeah, assuming thats not some intended effect of some super natural event occurring and thats just how the game looks, what were the devs thinking. staring at that screen is a mind fuck because i keep blinking trying to clear up my vision, but to no avail.

I see it now that i posted it. But in game i don't really mind it. Or can tell much from it. I wonder now that you guys pointed it out i will notice it more.

It's also totally easy to turn off in one of the ini files. That and the godawful DOF implementation.

I meant I'm now using ENB instead of Reshade. I think no matter what you do with Reshade you're probably not gonna get raytraced reflections and the kind of lighting you get with the ENB. Plus, without depth buffer access, ReShade can't add AO, and Boris added SSAO too. I'll post a few pics.

This is the final set using Reshade Framework. A short storyboard titled after one of my fave tracks from the game. "Everybody Lies".
