Is that CA I see?
I think I see a little in the 1st pic.Is that CA I see?
I'm guessing it's because of how fast the camera turns that causes that. They're um, pretty blurry...

Yeah and it runs at a perfect 60 FPS, too. The only blemish is the very obvious aliasing, some shots I wanted to post but the aliasing is just a bit too visible and it bothers me... ^^ But the texture quality is quite solid, I really like the graphics in the Wolfenstein games. The art in this game is amazing. Love the id Tech 5 engine, so wholly unused and it is a shame, so capable.
Yeah, not a big fan of DoF myself to be honest, unless it's used sparingly. Not when the whole background is blurry. But that's just me I guess.
Yeaaaah but that's a limitation of human vision which is a weird thing to try and reproduce, lol. Kind of like how CA is a flaw in photography that you wonder why they reproduce it in games.
Plus, honestly, there's a difference between, say, this:
which is subtle and gives a nice "photographic" effect without really sacrificing detail, and this, which honestly just gives me a headache, sorry:
Like I said, your other shots were great, I just don't care for this kind of dizzying effect. ^^
I disagree. Not all DoF is equal, not by a long shot. It's like saying "bloom is bloom" or "lensflares are lensflares". Sometimes the effect is subtle, sometimes it's exaggerated. Sometimes the effect smoothens (sp?) the visuals to remove flaws whilst still preserving some integrity or introduces an aesthetically pleasing effect, sometimes it looks like vaseline has been smeared all over it and it just ruins the environments.Dof is Dof,
That's pretty reductive. The difference in the resulting effect between the Uncharted short and the Bloodborne shots are huge and I already explained why.my shot is showcasing a depth into the field, foreground clean for the character, background blurry for the environment. The same layout is seen in the uncharted shot you have posted above.
