Kanye had 4-5 minutes, with the audience in the palm of his hands, and he choose to use that time to self promote.

Why do people regard him so highly? Please explain.

I think he is an amazing producer, but I think he's a terrible public speaker.

He has no charisma whatsoever and, based on his "speech" little intelligence.

The 4 minutes of Kanye was so hyped up and really, with the state of tensions right now in the US, it could have been powerfully impactful if he said....anything of worth.

I feel like the hype surrounding Lemonade died surprisingly quick. So many high profile releases this year.

Album was solid.

I appreciate some of his music, I truly do.

That's not the issue I have with him. I just felt like he should have done something to take a stand, to make a statement. But nope, it's all about Kanye.
