lol

also lol @ Bellichek Tropy

The Broncos have another tough test this weekend. I'm hoping that they don't take the Bengals lightly. I want to see pure defensive domination.

On offense, I just hope they can score 26 points. If they can consistently score 26 points, they'll win a shitload of games.

Why would they take the Bengals lightly?

There is still little reason to believe quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will be available to start Thursday night against the Texans due to a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder.

However, the Patriots are putting pressure on Garoppolo to be ready as quickly as possible, even reminding him Tom Brady played through a similar injury on multiple occasions throughout his career, sources have told the Herald. That Garoppolo took part in practice Tuesday, on a limited basis, reinforces how the Patriots have hopes of him playing this week.

Rams got the Bucs this week? Hope we get last week's Jameis Winston and not week 1's.

Wish I still lived in Florida so I could go to the game...

I'm not crazy familiar with the Vikings D, but it looks like the strength of that team is the LB core. Which makes for a strong defense, but doesn't deliver the pass rush/sacks associated with a dominant DL, or the tight coverage and INTs expected from CBs and the hard hits associated with Safeties. LBers are important parts of the defense but I think it's easy for them to be pushed into the background against the DL and secondary, unless you're a Luke Kuechly who's a freak, or a Von Miller who spends a lot of time wreaking havoc on opposing QBs. They aren't flashy in the way you'd expect a dominant D to be, they just keep the opponent's score low, so people aren't looking at them the way you'd look at the Seahawks, Texans, or Broncos
Harrison smith is probably the hardest hitting safety in the league and arguably the best overall.
They were tied for 7th in sacks last year and 5th in scoring defense. They're legit.

Raiders allowing consecutive 500 yard games for the first time.

MRSA deserves this.
I wonder how other QBs like Russell function when they know when don't have to score 35 points a game to win. Carr having no mistakes (albiet a few throws off his back leg) is kind of amazing thus far into the season.

@abkelley74
The last 4 years BROWNS have 19 wins... Jags with 14....The @Jaguars are worse than the Browns......why do we make fun of them?

Both are made fun of a lot, flawed argument

There literally are no Jaguars fans.

Jacksonville is also comparatively small compared to nearly every other city.

You won't be rustling anyone's jimmies if no one cares!

Well at least the bright side is Reggie can just focus on defense in the draft should they continue to be shit as the free agency signings don't seem to working as well.

What if Jimmy was team Hillary?
What if angels danced on pinheads

The soon to be returning QB is a trumpster.. Is that enough to save their reputation? You know the answer to this..

Ugh that's the worst.

I get tracers and sometimes after that long I'm literally too worked up to sleep despite the fact that I'm desperate to do so.

Absolutely awful.

I'm running on 7 cups of coffee since yesterday morning...and this will continue until Saturday....the crash will be spectacular

I've been up for 32 hours. I blame Floy. Fuck you Floy
We all agree that this is Floy's fault.

Don't take sleeping pills though. That shit will fuck you up quick. I used to have issues sleeping when studying for exams and I took sleeping pills for awhile. The problem is that after while you need them to sleep even without whatever was keeping you up. Only that shit when you are on a plane or in other limited scenarios.

Masturbation and exercise are a powerful tool against not being able to sleep. You have to find some way of turning your brain off. Just try to be 10% as stupid as Gata or Floyd on a normal day. You will be snoozing in no time.

Good luck!

I don't know how all these people in college take aderall. Shit would probably kill me.

Anyways I'll be good. I still got some stuff to do anyways.

So gaf, should I trade TY for Matt jones? Has he Doug Martin only have to start one running back but the only other backs I have are hill and Riddick.

To add to this everyone gather round because wienke has a tale of caution about sleeping pills.

I was put on Ambien when I was 26 or so and I took that for about a year until they switched me to Temazepam (a benzo!). I took those nightly for two years before I switched back to sweet sweet Ambien (best high ever...so euphoric). Also I apparently missed out on the really life threatening benzo withdrawals I guess? Didn't even realize that was a thing until later.

Unfortunately one summer I was waking up after only 4 hours of sleep. My body had started to become so adapted that without the medicine, I literally could not sleep without it in my system. Ambien CR didn't solve the problem either.

So my doctor was like "well we can up your dose and continue down this rabbit hole or you can come off it entirely with only prescription strength melatonin (Rozarem I think).

That first week I was getting 1-3 hours a night even with the melatonin. Being physically incapable of feeling "sleepy" is the weirdest feeling ever. So for 3-6 months after I came off all that, I would regularly have bouts of not being sleepy at all. It really took about a year to work it out of my system. I still only need about 5-6 hours of sleep a night so that's a plus. Also my memory has drastically improved.

Basically sleeping pills are great for sporadic use. Like after being up for three days and your brain won't shut off. Regular use is awful.

Lesson to be learned?

Shut the fuck up and listen to you elders.
