Kave is famous?

Man, all you grad students are making me feel like a lazy bum. I should probably get a Master's in something especially because my job will pay for it.

Working full time + masters can be hell.

If your work pays for it and it gets you more money it's worth it.

Whose the one wanting jj watt aka the white man to get in the way of the brisket, a young black man whose just trying to better himself?
Trump supporters are mostly white (and I believe like their candidate most of them like the Pats), but he does have a few minorities here and there.

Brisket sounds delicious but he is on the wrong side of history and thus must be destroyed. Do your job Watt. Do your motherfucking job.

I like the symbolism.

The ripped, handsome black man is Mike Tomlin standing over the defeated racist, fat Patriots (Trump being their symbol). This symbolizes the defeat of the Pats in the playoffs by the Steelers and hopefully signaling the beginning of the end for the franchise and their disgusting politics.

You are ok Sanjuro. You are ok.

Bart Scott called Wentz fools gold cause he played JV teams.

When will the hate stop?

Who the fuck is Bart Scott?

In any case, his level of competition has nothing to do on why people think he is going to be good. It's his command of the offense, his processing speed, his pocket presence, his arm talent, his size, etc. He's doing things that rookie QBs just shouldn't be able to do. Given what he has shown in just his first two games, I feel pretty confident in saying that he will be a good-to-great QB at this level IF (and this is a big if) he stays healthy.

If he beats the Steelers and/or Vikings. Or any of the teams between Week 10-14
I mean... We've scored more than the Ravens have against the Browns. We've also scored more than the Texans have against the Bears.

Why are people expecting a rookie from the FCS to come in his first year and beat elite defenses? Especially when he wasn't even named the starter until the week before the season began. We should just be looking for a competent QB, which seems to be the case thus far.

Flacco sucks and has no weapons though, and the jury is still really out on Brock. Saying that the Eagles offense did better then the Ravens and Texans isnt saying much. Hopefully Wentz will be good though.

This pep..
We're not a contending team. We're a rebuilding team. No reason to expect him to come out and beat one of top teams in the league, or to call him fools gold for not being able to do so. We have zero elite offensive weapons to help him out.

What weapons do we have? lol.

Our best WR can't consistently catch a football, and we're hoping for a WR the Titans gave up on after only 1 year to pan out.

I'm thrilled we won both games, but I'm still not expecting much this year.

Yeah this is where I'm at. I wasn't thinking this season was going to be anything, Wentz is so far ahead of where I thought he'd be that as long as he stays healthy all season then that's a win for me. This is only his first year, so even if he makes mistakes there's plenty of time to correct that. Just gotta really beat into him that he isn't in North Dakota anymore, he can't barrel over defenders.

I agree with you, I'm just saying that's what the national spotlight wants to see. And while he's looked really good, I just think it's a reaction to how much some people are praising him. There's always a balance. But one thing related to the Browns and Bears. Yeah those defenses don't have a ton of talent, but it's not like the D Coordinators were garbage. Ray Horton is a pretty good coordinator. But that was the Browns, and he didn't have any film against Wentz. After that game, the whole talk all week was, "Wait till they play the Bears. Wait till Vic Fangio game plans against him". Vic Fangio is a good coordinator, and Wentz was ready for it. The injuries piled up on the Bears which helps, but still. The other thing that bothers me is when the Texans ripped apart the Bears, no one was calling the Defense god awful. It was only one game, but that loss was blamed on Cutler and the offense. Then the Eagles come to town, and Wentz wins on the road, his first ever primetime game, and suddenly the defense is trash.

That too though. We aren't contending this year. As long as he stays healthy, that's a win

I will happily say that Wenyz is going to be better then both Flacco and Brock, the point is that being better then those guys is a super low bar. Hopefully he turns out great but it is way to early to have any idea at all. Bobby Hoying looked great his first few starts and then totally petered out. Nick Foles had a great first season and now 3 years later is almost out of the league. It takes a long time to get a real sense of how a QB is going to do. Lets see what happens after DC's get 3 or 4 games worth of tape on him and can really analyze his strengths and weaknesses.

I'm surprised that this is the 3rd time since 06 that the Pats weren't favored at home. Once against Denver in the Welker fumble game and the were on to Cincinnati game.

I'll be extremely happy if Wentz is better than Flacco, a Super Bowl winning QB.

You have every right to be excited. Wentz is awesome and I've been trying to convince people for a while he would turn into something special.

He's going to have some bad games, and sure he's only played against bottom feeders so far, but plenty of rookie QBs do that and get torched.

Plus the eagles have a very good defense. The rebuild won't take too long if they just stock up on WRs who can catch and some linemen. Oh, and if they can teach Wentz that it's okay to slide, take a sack, throw it away, etc.
