Different Packers team. Offense seems to have responded with some unique route combinations and Rodgers is actually throwing the ball on time.

I don't know if they dusted off an old playbook or what. No idea if that's actually how it works.

Damn that long pass was on the money so I'm glad that was PI. That was 100% a touchdown (assuming its caught)
 
Was to me too but I don't often see kickoffs kicked to the 1 so close to the sideline like that.

I'm curious to see if the league will address the rule or if there's going to be a follow up about it.

It's the Lions, so no. There won't be any further discussion about it by the league because no other team will somehow get screwed over by the actions of the other team's kick returner.

It makes sense from consistency of the rules. If you touch the ball while during fumble on the sidelines, its considered out of bounds


I don't think that type of play will happen enough to warrant a rules change
 
This was a must win game for the Packers so I'm glad we appear to be stepping up thus far.

I literally haven't seen this Rodgers since early last season so excuse us while we celebrate.
