I ended up installing Crysis after the thread you made the other day to test it on my system, AMD 955 GTX 760, couldn't get the framerate to stay at 60fps or near it so instead I locked it at 30fps V-Sync'd running at 1440p. Looks amazing and plays great, motion blur makes it look very smooth, I love the motion blur in this game.

The rocks are definitely very weak as is the aliasing on all the foliage. In motion, however, under just the right lighting conditions, the game honestly passes for a current gen title. It's remarkable when you think about it.

Did the game update recently? Which table are you using?Found a CE table with DoF settings but they apparently don't work anymore with the latest steam release. Camera still did, fortunately

You might want to grab the POM + AF mod, it significantly improves the clarity of many ground textures.

I doubt it was updated recently. It was a table I found on one of Erika's shots. 'Delete' is bound to enable a script but it doesn't work. As you mentioned elsewhere, I didn't have the necessary keybinds. Will add them later today and see if that makes it work. If so, I'll upload the table to pastebin or github gist and post a message in the DET thread so others who want to shoot the game still can!

Surprised how well the game hold sup, but graphically? the art style holds up but it doesn't technically.

Heh yeah it's .... challenging with the F1 script first, then pause, then move the camera, take shot, disable script, but it's better than nothing, so no complaints from me. Only side effect of the table is that if you die or the map changes and you forgot to switch off the camera script the game crashes. Oh well, luckily it boots quickly
These Crysis posts are making me want to start my first Delta run to test it on my 1070. The 760 can keep it at 60fps most of the time at 1080p except for the CPU-bound moments. The rock and leaf textures are the only obvious weaknesses.
Someone said it well in another thread: Crysis looks like a game that came out two years ago, even though it came out nine years ago.

HattiWatti made freecam tools which will give you the camera functionality you need and has a hotkey to freeze the game. According to Berdu, these tools are allowed and will not get you banned.
For high resolution screenshots, you can use SRWE (resize window, take screenshots, resize back down). That's how everyone gets their high-res screenshots in Frostbite games right now.
There's a ton of compression artifacts. How are you capturing them?

Well i am not really sure about that "FC4 reskin"...
I only tried both FC3 and FC4 and didn't like them at all. Primal feels different to me and i can say that i like it. I love the setting and Mesolithic period and i like that there are no guns in the game.
I can say that i am not a FC fan, but i like Primal.
It just feels different to me and that's what i like the most.jim2point0

The tools were fantastic if they still work. The game has a built-in debug menu which gives you freecam, timestop, FOV, etc. You needed a hacked EXE to enable it so... you just have to hope that still works. Wherever it is.

Wat? Ok, "hex exited EXE file." But I'm wrong. The original way was just hex editing the file, but then someone made a loader. Either way, there's no risk. But yeah.... I have a copy I could upload if you want. It might work.
In that case, sure! No idea when I'll play it, but it's good to stock up on camera CT's/exes for when the time comes and you need 'em

The map layout is basically the same, it seems. Anyway, I was not really into FC, but Primal seems cool because of the reasons you mentioned. I'll see if I pick it up some time in the future. The game looks ace!

Yeah I liked the unique form of storytelling it had, pretty amusing and original. I hated the duels though. I get what they were trying to do with it, but it just controlled like shit and didn't work out well at all.
That said, wow, never guessed the game could look this good from having played it on the PS3... xD
