Booooooh though to Flickr's compression.![]()
Edit: Checked the original, jpeg blocking artefacts are already there, visible in the sky. Which is unusual unless that is already in the picture!
For some reason people don't say Bandicam even though it's easily one of the best for taking screenshots. Thanks Jim and Timu, it's such a basic question, but sometimes it just seems like the tools I'm using are inadequate in their own special way.
GeDoSaTo can capture multiple 4k screenshots per secondAny good suggestions on software to take screenshots with? Steam doesn't include post-processing, Playclaw unfortunately crashes on Unity games, Fraps I haven't checked in ages. Maybe MSI Afterburner?
I just want something that's able to capture post-processing (Reshade/Sweetfx) without interferring with the game (Reshade's own screenshot functionality stops the game for like 2-3 seconds to write to disk).
I'm looking at these Witcher 3 shots and I can't help but wonder what the fuck some people are talking about when they say the game is graphically underwhelming.
It consistently looks better than nearly any other game posted ITT.
Looks real nice!
Thx!This is an excellent shot, nice composition.
Did you use an image compositor to make a pano out of several pictures? The compression could come from a setting in that application.
Who says that?
Game looks amazing. Too bad I'll never play it because I hate scary games.

PNGs too.
I can understand thinking that the foliage could be better if you're sticking your note up against it. And that the LOD could be better. And the water....I've heard that from a few people honestly; your shots always seem to silence that particular misguided point of view.
By the way, your shots from Witcher 3 convinced me to keep my 980 Ti.
Keep those PNGs and delete the JPGs.By the way, what do any of you do with your original BMPs/PNGs after you've converted to JPGs? Do you keep the source images or do you delete the old stuff in order to free up space? I'm not sure if I should just delete all the old stuff I have in order to free up space, since I have the JPG versions anyway.

I capture in PNG and covert them to JPG and upload the JPG to the site. Then delete the JPGs in my folder and keep the PNG=p

BMP source will be deleted. Most of the time I only keep the 98% JPGs.By the way, what do any of you do with your original BMPs/PNGs after you've converted to JPGs? If it helps RE0 isn't a very scary game.
And the water....
