2017 is an S cycle release year. Am I missing something or is this the SE update?
4/4s is still goat phone
The 5 series design is so light it feels like an empty box. Every time I use one it feels like a magic trick.Design, yes. But specs? Hell no.
4/4S are beautiful but heavy. Definitely like the 5, and now the SE, more.
Obviously talking about the design. It is the best looking phone of all time.Design, yes. But specs? Hell no.
It's a very good looking phone. Personally my favorite design is the 6/6s, I love how the screen looks like is floating. The protruding camera is ugly though.Obviously talking about the design. It is the best looking phone of all time.
Well specs are always changing so it's impossible for any device to have goat specs. :3Design, yes. But specs? Hell no.

That's true. Actually most iPhones outperform their competitors. Apple tends to make better decisions, like not going overboard with resolution(pushing 1080P instead of wasting performance on 1440P) until the hardware is more than capable. That coupled with having a better optimized OS.The 4 definitely had GOAT specs for it's time. Nothing else was hitting 326ppi for a year and a half afterward.
Me too. I'm not exactly chomping at the bit for thinness and no headphone jack. It's gotta be a total refresh, because my 2014 6 Plus is still a beast.2017 it is then. My 6 Plus still got to hold out.
Maybe to you the 6s felt minor. It's been probably the most well received s upgrade in the wider culture. The 6s felt like the the most minor YoY upgrade for an iPhone so far. The 7 looks to be another blah update.
Hopefully they can pull out a hype Apple Watch 2 at least.
99% bullcrap
Too soon for anyone but Apple to know what the 2017 iPhone will be, leave alone to this degree of precision.

Did they ever fix the uneven color degradation of OLED screens?

It looks sexy and not all of us break and grime up our phonesCan someone fill me in to why glass backs are preferred?
I've hated using it on the Nexus 4. Smudges and fingerprint magnet plus it cracks super easily compared to more durable materials such as a polycarbonate.
Sure it looks good but that's only the immediate out-of-the-box experience.
2017 it is then. My 6 Plus still got to hold out.
T-mo jump on demand, bitches
had the 6 plus, the 6s plus, will get 7 plus, and then this one too
u jelly?
Why the f would they take on AMOLED when it's way less color accurate and looks worse. iPhone has touted one of the most accurate displays in phones ever since the 5
Why would you want them to use a more brittle and more reflective material for the screen? Sapphire crystal isn't good for bigger than a watch display. It is harder to scratch, but weakens easier than glass on any moderate sized display and thus will likely crack easier. If it's not sapphire crystal glass (and let's face it, it won't be, Apple would not cannibalise their accessories/cases like that) then do not want. I really appreciate how tough the series 7 alloy is on the 6S, whilst being light.
You can tell me what that says if you want but I will not read over 15000 words to find outUm yeah about that

Overall Galaxy S7 Display Grade is Excellent A
The Best Performing Smartphone Display that we have ever tested.
The misinformation about OLEDs reminds me of how early plasma TV issues still shaped the conversation years after they were remedied.Um yeah about that

Samsung and Google.I've heard that. Any particular company that sets them accurately?
Samsung and Google.
It is accurate.By default, Samsung prefers oversaturated. You have to change the setting in many of their phones to get its best attempt at accurate.
The most accurate in fact. Don't know what that other guy is talking about. It is accurate.
Right, I'm the smart ass because Kuo is wrong "99%" of the time, like you posted. Riiight.I know who Ming-Chi Kuo is dear smartass and i stand by to what i said, it's not like he has never been wrong... just recently he said that the Apple pencil would take advantage of the 3d touch of the soon to be released (at the time) iPad Pro 12.9 or like that time when he said that the 5S was going to have 128GB of storage...
It is accurate.
Guzman thought enough of the analysis to post it to 9to5.Until it comes from Gurman though...
Their phones have color modes and the default one is an artificially oversaturated mode on many, if not most models. 'Basic' mode its called, I believe. No phones are currently 100% accurate.
I wonder what people like about the 6s, the best thing seems to be live photos. 3D touch I never use and it just makes it harder to move app icons around on the springboard.
