Talk about going out on top, the second half of this season has been amazing.

"Go to hell."

"You first."

Jack's lines have been so badass lately.

I can't wait until he says "You're fired." to the CTU acting director, and launches him at the head of a missile into the White House.

Love the street cop who was not investigating the scene shows up and from like 5 feet away is like "I can see powder burns, execution style". It was so bad how they just tossed that in there for Cole to hear.

And heres our secret untraceable phone... that goes direct to my voice mail :lol

HOLY SHIT
ARMY OF JACK!
FUCKING BRUTAL.

That torture scene was fucking nuts. The final seconds of the episode, when he hears the voicemail greeting, I couldn't help but just laugh. They sure are gonna go out on top.

The only way they top this is if we see advisory warnings coming back from every commercial break. Could happen. :D

We need a gif of Jack getting Logan's voice mail.

me watching the final few minutes and the preview

Man. That would have been so much better a reveal if Logan had answered the phone. But I guess it's better that he not know Jack's onto him right away.

edit: Amazing preview

Well, the Russian's phone was SUPER UNTRACEABLE. But Logan called on his 1987 Bag Phone.

Bad Move, Charles. Never call a super secret russian hitman with your own personal "President Logan Cares About You" hotline phone. I'm sure it's in the guidebook on things not to do when Conspiring.

Say what you will about the rest of the season, but this may be one of the best final acts of any 24 season. At least the show gets to end on a badass note.

Jeez, what an episode.

Though the ending made me laugh a bit, you would think use another phone number or something. :lol

Well that was violent. In fact, im sure parent groups will complain.

Charles Logan is going to die.

Lol, I too loved how they put that Viewer Discretion advisory right before the final scene, you knew bad things were gonna happen. Guess they had to make sure Jack had the most gruesome torture scene ever in this final season.

My mouth was :O for the entire scene. And Holy Fuck at the preview too! :O :O :O

Kratos Bauer is unstoppable.
Heh, so true.

Fuck Canada, I got owned by some Glee preview and they only showed the last second of the 24 preview =\

Any links up?

So basically they're going to kill a fictional ex president and a Russian president off, right? Fox can't be too happy about that.

Episode owned.

So when does this season come out on DVD/Blu-ray? I can't find the info!

Don't they normally come out as soon as the season is over?

Hm, I assume it would be in the autumn, around September. The only reason Season 7 was released so early last year was because it was completed well in advance.

And this episode was awesome. Can't wait until next week - Season 5 round 2! And I've also decided that episodes 16-24 of this season can be essentially viewed as a mini-season. Cut out all the Hassan stuff, have the peace treaty continue, re-jig a few things (like turn Dana into uh, a better character), and have Bauer and Renee in bed as the first scene.

Meh, actually it probably wouldn't work. :lol But if I view this second half as it's own, it's by far the best season yet. Seriously. Logan/Greg Itzin has really, really made the last episodes something the 24 guys can really be proud of. Oh and having Michael Madsen in was a stroke of genius, love his character - nice to have Bauer relying on someone other than Chloe for once.

Damn. And probably a super duper complete series Blu-ray collection too, which my secret Santa will have no problems delivering to my doorstep with much quickness.

Pretty lame how they've turned Logan into a blatantly evil mastermind now.

Eh, not so much. He's just stupidly misguided and looking out purely for himself. He wants to be recognised as awesome in the public eye once again, and is blinded by everything else apart from that.

And besides, he's no worse than in Season 5. And who else would have made such a significant impact on the final episodes of 24 ever? A new character surely wouldnt.

That's pretty much a definite - and the only reason why I'm not buying any of the seasons on DVD, even though they're £5 each at work. :lol

Season 1 seriously needs a decent HD remaster.

Someone has to be alive for the movie. She's gonna say "Hit the road, Jack, and don't you come back, no more, no more, no more, no more." and he will escape, setting up the movie.

Oh hell no I am not highlighting that spoiler, you dirty sons of bitches.

Muwaha.

To be honest, it's not surprising at all. It's not like David Palmer is coming back. :lol

Yep. That could work - but wouldn't that just be Season 4's ending but even more lonesome for Jack?

I think he'll either be shoved into prison or a mental institute. Final scene: Jack in a straightjacket, with martha logan sitting next to him. :lol
