So it's suppose to be big, eh? Well it has to be considering the dull episodes lately...

The Big Twist will simply be that the F-117 is armed with air-to-air missiles to shoot down Air Force One, driving me into a murderous rage at the sheer stupidity of the factual error ;P

I will spoil the twist with one name...

Carmen Sandiego

But can Jack stop her in time using nothing but his wits and his knowledge of basic geography?!?!?

I agree that the episodes have been dull lately. I was actually considering skipping this weeks episode until I saw this thread.

Heh, same here. But what's interesting is that the episodes that I put off till the next day are usually the better ones

Judging by the preview, I'm 95% certain of that... though I'm not sure it's the big twist in itself.

Why is that so stupid, though? Not arguing with you, I'm just really that clueless.

F-117s are bombers, they don't have air-to-air attack capability.

edit: to clarify, the "F" designator was basically a smokescreen, to hide it's actual capabilities/purpose during its development, IIRC. It's not really a "Fighter" aircraft at all.

I wish he would do a kamikaze run. That would be hardcore...but wouldn't make sense because he wants the bling bling

An F-117 could fly over another moving plane and drop a bomb on it.

Now that's just as absurd. I mean, the plane would have to be sufficiently higher from AF1 to not suffer from the explosion, and then it would have to be able to lead ahead of AF1 to account for the falling time of the bombs, something that I highly doubt the F-117's computers are designed to do.

I mean, if that's what you were going to do, why not just avoid the hassle and steal an F-16, -15, or -18 instead?

He'll probably pull the favored tactic of bad BF1942 fighter pilots versus the B-17 or other large aircraft that they can't seem to shoot down with their guns.

i believe in theory, the F-117A can use air to air missles, but its never been done before

also interesting hint over at AICN.. wonder what it means

surely even as a strike aircraft/basic bomber, it would be capable of carrying a couple of sidewinders, if only for basic self-defence?

Why would it need basic self-defence? It's a stealth plane that only flys night attack missions. ;P

This episode will be so big, FOX will show it again this friday and sunday. (but psst, they repeat this episode also because there are some basketball finals, pssst).

PIVOTAL APRIL 4TH EPISODE OF "24" TO ENCORE FRIDAY, APRIL 8, AND SUNDAY, APRIL 10, ON FOX

Can't-Miss Episode Reveals Shocking Plot

As the fourth season of FOX's acclaimed drama series 24 intensifies, the most riveting and pivotal episode yet, "Day 4: 10:00 PM-11:00 PM," airs Monday, April 4 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) with special encores Friday, April 8 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Sunday, April 10 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The episode is so gripping that two additional airings have been scheduled to ensure viewers an opportunity to catch this critical and controversial turning point. Leading into the final heart-stopping hours, this episode will leave viewers gasping and is certain to be the most talked-about hour in the show's four thrilling seasons.

After triggering a fatal train crash, kidnapping the Secretary of Defense and setting off a chain-reaction meltdown of the nation's nuclear power plants as well as detonating an EMP bomb, criminal mastermind Habib Marwan's (Arnold Vosloo) worst terrorist threat is yet to come. In last Monday's episode, "Day 4: 9:00 PM-10:00 PM," Marwan diverted the attention of CTU operatives with a hostage exchange of captive CTU super-agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) for witness-protected Behrooz Araz (Jonathan Ahdout). The diversion allowed defector and former Air Force pilot Mitch Anderson (Ned Vaugh) to successfully steal an F-117A Stealth fighter jet.

In "Day 4: 10:00 PM-11:00 PM," the plot takes a terrifying turn as Marwan sets his sights on his most momentous and potentially devastating target – an outcome that agent Bauer might not be able to prevent. Meanwhile, President Keeler (Geoff Pierson) wants to address the nation before the 11 o'clock news.

24, created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, is a production of Imagine Television and 20th Century Fox Television in association with Real Time Productions. Brian Grazer, Joel Surnow, Robert Cochran, Howard Gordon and Evan Katz are the executive producers. Kiefer Sutherland is a co-executive producer.

Jack Bauer will kick ass this hour. I already seen a scene of FOX's website. CHUCK CHUCK. KABOOM! :lol

Joke right? RIGHT!?

Maybe the big plot twist has something to do with Aliens!? Mulder and Scully will return and will fight Marwan, who turns into an alien? Could be.

also to guest star in tonights episode: Harrison Ford as president keeler "GET OFF MY PLANE"

I saw that movie this weekend. George Mason is in it!
And that secret agent guy from Palmer. And Eric Rayburn from season 2!

That reminds me...Palmer's chief of staff from previous seasons had a tiny part in Sin City. It's bad, whenever I see an actor from 24 in something else, I think of them as the character in 24.

I love the line of thought here. Classic.

Palmer's Head of Secret Service also has a recurring role on Alias.

Before being gunned down by Jack, Nina programmed part of her subconscious into CTU's mainframe and is controlling everything! OMGWTFBBQ

It's time!

Does anyone else have this problem? You try to eat food while watching 24, but you get so wrapped up in the show that your left with nothing but cold pizza and warm soda at the very end. :lol

Jack's back in "terrorist-ass-kicking" mode. :D

Hell yeah. That Strike Team was so useless, Jack took down pretty much everybody alone.

That move with the knife was so great. That his special "Shut yo bitch ass up" Knife Kill!

Yeah 24 ops teams are beyond useless - you'd think they had ONE flashbang amongst the group of them

I do hope this twist actually ends up being a twist because what I think its going to be is fairly obvious. Especially since they are gathering teams on the ground. I think I saw this in a movie once.
