No 24 thread has been made yet? For shame, GAF!

Anyways, you all know the deal: hour 8 (2 PM - 3 PM) is tonight where Jack Bauer continues his ass-kicking spree.

And Tony is back! :D

And please, keep all assumptions, previews, and guesses (in otherwords, events that haven't happened yet) in spoiler tags so as to not ruin the episode for some.

I'm still pissed about Driscoll taking credit for the rescue... but I can't wait to get me some more 24 action!
 
as someone who has just fell into 24 a few episodes ago... who is tony, and why should i care?
 
i am with op ivy, although i read in the last thread he was in driscolls spot, i think, and he was forced to commit treason or something like that.... if not, fill me in, I am a 24 newbie this year as well... and i want to see whats going on with beroos and his hot mom

he was with ctu since season 1. i think season 2 he took over as the head of ctu and him and jack were either always a great team or at odds. last season for a misson he had to sort of had to commit treason and resigned. i think....damn cant believe i already forgot most of season 3.

he is the former director of CTU, he is married to another former CTU member named Michelle. they were an extremely competent team. tony is basically as competent in the administrative affairs as jack is in the field, and tony can hold his own in the field as well. in the last season, he chose to save his wife's life over the lives of his countrymen and was fired and jailed.
 
Yeah Tony is awesome. And it's the first time Tony is fighting baddies along side Jack!

Oh, and the producers of 24 told at the Golden Globes that 2pm to 4pm are two f**king OMG episodes! Can't wait.

They gotta be awesome...it seems like the '2nd phase' for this season is pretty short if it just consists of this nuclear threat. Shit's gotta be coming down soon
 
Sweeps is earlier, in terms of how many hours in we are, this year due to the late debut, so this makes sense. I'm hyped, but I got little sleep last night and was hoping to get to bed early...but staying up for the 24 Torrent is tempting.

WTF? Michelle left him? The man committed treason and risked getting the death penalty to save her. What a B!#$#!!

I just finished watching Season 3 on DVD yesterday and this whole leaving Tony thing does not feel right at all. They were very much in love.

CTU is full of bumbling idiots..... I cannot believe this chick once again got somebody else in trouble. Incredible....

She transmitted a voice recording over the computer and somehow made it look like it was coming from the other chicks computer.
 
She just got an innocent CTU dummy thrown into holding by making it seem like she released confidential info.
 
Just put her under the lie detector like the other guy......but OH CTU only does that with him. Such a smart unit.
 
Somehow I don't think she'll be staying with CTU once this is all cleared up. I can't believe Jack just took that at face value.... NOW this show is starting to piss me off.

My only complaint: Jack didn't seem at all surprised that Sarah was pinned as the spy.

Edgar better keep looking in to it... come on dammit, this episode is heading towards being the first ep this season that ends in a way I don't like.

Why would he be suprised? It's not like he knows her or something. They briefly met earlier this day.
