That preview confused the hell outta me. I'mma have to watch last week's episode to bring some clarity to my befuddlement. :) (that's a funny word :p)

The Tivo guide preview told me a bit more about tonight's ep that I originally knew from watching the trailer.

According to it Marwan is on his way to Paul's headquarters.

Seriously I think spoilers should be seperated. I do not care about 'preview' spoilers, I mean they show them on commercials, after the show, and so on so its not a big deal to me ... I don't think they should be tagged as spoilers.

What pisses me off is people in every thread tagging both preview AND bigger spoilers. It's not a fucknig spoiler if they show in in the previews, but if you are posting spoilers that have to do with what you read on entertainment websites with people saying 'so and so is coming back for this episode', yes thats a fucking spoiler. Stop tagging those, just don't even mention it. Or at least point out before you spoiler tag something if its a spoiler because of a preview or a spoiler because of some shit you read on an entertainment site about the actors or actresses returning.

It very much is a spoiler if they show it in the previews. Many of the people who watch the show avoid the previews. I consider anything shown in the previews to be no less a spoiler than something like "Somebody comes back this episode", and I know a lot of the people who post in these threads feel the same way.

If you don't want to read spoilers, don't highlite the fucking spoiler tags, genius. If you saw the preview, why the fuck do you need to read what somebody else says about it? If not, then just wait for the episode.

I think there is a valid point behind this, only because I know of most casting spoilers and read Zap2it's Best Bets preview each week. But, I want to know NOTHING about the plot or anything concrete about other episodes. So, some spoilers I could highlights, others I could not. I think this is what Hollywood is talking about.

However, you're wrong in saying that previews aren't spoilers, because they often reveal far more then people want to know. Previews make you sit there throughout the episode thinking "Oh, that guy can't die yet, he hasn't done *such and such*". And that's annoying.

Just to help you out, I'll start labeling my spoiler posts.

CASTING:
This HAS to be Michelle's return, considering the hint earlier regarding her new position at Division and Driscoll's current mental state.

That whole preview spoiler shit is just plain dumb. The previews get aired a million times a day on all sorts of channels. Do you change the channel or look away whenever one comes on? They're always hacked up to give a different impression anyway. I don't know if previews are spoiler territory. They weren't in the past IIRC. PEACE.

Previews have always been marked with spoilers in 24 threads. And, by the way, yes, on the off chance that I am actually watching Fox, I do change the channel when a 24 commercial comes on. I do the same with ABC and Lost/Alias and just about any other drama I watch on a weekly basis.

I don't have cable, only an antenna, and don't get the channel that simulcasts 24 here in Canada. Thus, I download 24, so I don't even have a chance to see the preview once.

A very...lacking episode, but that's to be expected considering the events of last week. Still, next week is looking awfully nice (I didn't watch the preview), Michelle and the effects of the EMP provide lots of potential.

Another great episode! Yeah we hear this over and over again. I need more action and Bauer ass kicking though.

I totally forgot about Michelle though. Great to see another 24 familiar face back! :D

Dessler out of the way.

Jack fricken CLOSELINED that guy. That was sweet.

On a side note, anyone see the commercial for that Pam Anderson show? The commercial goes "It's stars Pamela Anderson and it's called Stacked... because it takes place in a bookstore...what were you thinking?"

MY question is, would there be anyone in the world who's first thought would be "It's about books!"

That's exactly what is so appealing about the show for me, it's completely ridiculous without offering any apologies. It's tense, exciting and the very definition of popcorn TV. Nothing better, imho.

Edgar's Mom dies... Edgar is told to suck it up and get back to work

Driscoll's kid dies... she gets hugs all around and is told to go home

At least she's gone now... Out of all the new cast, I hated Driscoll the most.

I wish they would have shown the helicopter go down too, but I guess it would cost too much.

I dunno, considering
how those two guys (the one calling in the EMP and the security guy) seem to basically be in cahoots and in possession of classified info that CTU hasn't even got around to mentioning to them (until Jack barged in), and then considering how easily the security guy was ready to pull a gun on a civilian and attempt to destroy evidence, it seems rather clear those guys are working clean-up for Habib rather than trying to "protect" the company.

And incidentally, regarding the end of the ep:
Damn, Michelle looks like one cold bitch. It will be interesting to see how things sort out.

Well, it really has to do with timing. Had Edgar walked off, those plants would have almost assuredly gone critical, resulting in the deaths of thousands, millions, etc.

However, at this point, the big crisis is over. So they can afford to have an experienced replacement step in, meanwhile, they really didn't have that option for Edgar. He was the only man for the job at that point, but Driscoll isn't the only person who can run CTU, especially now.

Yes I tend to turn them off so I won't know what's going to happen next. There are all sorts of movie previews and commercials that I avoid as well just because I want to know as little about something as possible.

Can someone refresh me on the temrs under which Tony and Michelle split-up during the 3rd season? All I remeber was Michelle getting kidnapped and Tony risking the lives of millions of Americans to save his wife.

This was explained about 6 episodes back. Tony got pardoned but lost his job, became a drunk, pushed Michelle away and lost her. Now he's back in form and Michelle is gonna get weak in the knees within the next 12 hours. I GUARENTEE IT!
