Hey, I just remembered: Isn't Habid Marquan the same guy who played the bad guy in "The Mummy"?

Hey, this is set a few years in the future, maybe they're using solid state memory for everything.aaaaa0 said:Great episode.
Except that setting off an EMP doesn't help McLennan-Forster conceal evidence -- the magnetic platters on a hard disk are immune to EMP, and so are tape backups.
Sure you'll toast the electronics, but the data stored on the disk platters won't be wiped... plus now that you've screwed all the drive's electronics, you can't format and secure-overwrite the data that IS on the disks and the government will be able to recover everything.
Oh well.
You...do realize he was being sarcastic right?MIMIC said:
And they didn't even do that right :lolI thought it was funny that Jack & the gang had taken out all the mercs and CTU only shot the one guy from Mclennan-Forrester.
LakeEarth said:Yeah but Jack was wearing Kevlar (I think) so saving him was completely pointless.
Heh, I edited that out because I'm not sure if he was wearing kevlar. I dunno, I might be remembering the scene wrong, because he's not wearing any in that gif there.ddkawaii said:friggin paul..dumbass... why wasn't he wearing protection?
cubanb said:I was half hoping that Palmer would show up at the sporting goods store to help Jack before the ctu guys did. I think it woulda been great if he was sporting that gun that Jesse Ventura uses in Predator.
Im wondering how they will work him into the story.
Aw man, I really hope that's not two seasons in a row.Boogie said:Would that be a spoiler there, jackass?
Interesting idea. I think you're right, it would've been awsome if the guy just pulled the gun out of nowhere and shot at Jack. Would go better with 24's style of sudden suprise action.Memles said:The one thing that pissed me off was the fucking annoying "Hand moving" scenes. I know that it's a form of suspense, us knowing something the characters don't. But for once in one of those scenes, I'd like to MYSELF shit my pants when he suddenly pops up from behind Jack's shoulder and points his gun at him. It's so lame to get the various setup shots, like they're treating us like idiots.

take a chill pill boogie. Its obvious that this all new cast thing wasnt going to last, they have been slowly reintroducing the big characters back into show. After the revelation of the new terrorist plot involving the president, it was highly speculated in last weeks thread that palmer could return soon. He seems like the next logical step besides a 1 handed chase.Boogie said:Would that be a spoiler there, jackass?

anyhow, i thought it would have been great if we saw palmer save jack like tony did earlier in the season.
heres a spoiler carl weathers is the terrorist master mind behind all of this
Memles said:HA! Like right...although this season IS setting a precedent of returning characters showing up to save the day, not gonna happen.Palmer?

The only two that seemed to have the potential to match up with the old crew (not so much Edgar, but Chloe believed in him so he had to be good) are the only ones left. I just love how when Driscol took over, she hired the most worthless people available.CloudNL said:\Only Curtis and Edgar left. :lol

tedtropy said:How would HD data be immune to an EMP blast? A magnet controls the placement of the metallic particles on the platters which represent its binary data. Wouldn't that getting hit by a giant magnetic blast destroy it? Wave a powerful magnet over a HD or VHS tape, etc, and see if that sucker is still working.
