Just finished S4.

One thing that really struck me this season was David Palmer had absolute trust in everything Bauer did. In S3 he had some doubts and conflicts (the sting operation), but in S4 he's like "everyone, calm the fuck down. Jack Bauer will save the day"

"what, there's a nuke possibly heading at 600mph towards us in Washington DC? I aint even breaking a sweat, Bauer will stop it"

he's literally the only person in the entire season apart from Tony who has no questions about what Bauer does. even chloe expresses doubt at some points.

At the time, I couldn't watch it. Blocked in the UK, bastards. Had to run it through a proxy, and then all I got was a shitty 5 second clip

lol. I'm recording each as a webm, and I'll have them linked in the OT for everyone to watch if they choose to. But really, you aren't missing much if you haven't seen the above clip - it's literally just one line between chloe and jack - and it has nothing to do with anything.

He's probably the only one to blindly trust Bauer, but I guess it's like a series trademark for people NOT to trust/listen to Bauer even though all evidence points to him being right and not to mention he saved the world from nuclear/chemical/viral holocaust several times, which would grant him some credibility I'd imagine.

In fact, if people actually listened to Bauer none of the seasons would move past episode 5 or 6.

I just finished it also. But Palmer had some intense moment with Logan defending Bauer.

I'm watching S5 now, and I'm at the point where Logan gives "Carte blanche" to Jack after exposing Cummings. I wonder what will happen next lol 'cause I don't remember S5 all that well but knowing the end of S8, Logan must've seriously fucked Bauer.

I saw one of Sky's billboard poster ads in the UK yesterday and loved it. Could only find a smaller cropped version of the key art on their website, but wanted to share anyway.

Such a great colour palette. The night sky looks like black smoke from an explosion when I saw it from a distance, which was a nice touch.

I missed that one out actually...was umming and ahhhing over it, but I felt the other title was a cleverer MGS reference. I'll add it as an option anyway.

anyone got any specific Jack moments that they want GIF'd? I've already got the following to use:

- Flare gun attack
- Bauer in body armour (logan)
- Jack punching Larry in the face
- Jack shooting Palmer's shooter

any others? I've got the entire series on Netflix, FRAPS and premiere pro ready to go

I forgot about that bit!

Watching Season 1 on Netflix just now was a bit WTF. They've taken out the "The following takes place between blah blah on the day of the blah blah. Events occur in real time", kept Kiefer's audio, replaced the message on screen with generic yellow text and cut out the "events occur in real time" part. It's on every episode of season 1.

Why? Every other season is untouched! it's bizarre.
