I decided to cave in and read the spoilers since I figured there's no chance I could avoid them until January.
First thing I gotta say is that
Tony is the king. He's my favourite character in the whole show and it's gonna be great to see him in action again.
I just really hope that
they don't make his return too goofy and ruin his character. As long as they explain his reappearance in a digestable way, I'll be more than happy to go along with it and CHEER FOR TONY. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
In the second episode of 24 Inside's season 6 shows, Howard Gordon said regarding Logan's status, "I didn't see him buried. Until he's buried, you're not dead on 24.
is back! I dont care if his return doesnt make sense, I just want to see him again. He was the second best character in the show after jack.
After season four 24 had two problems. They were running out of idea's and they couldnt replace the memorable characters. in the first few seasons there were so many memorable characters such as palmer, mike, tony, michelle, nina, mason and chapelle. They've not been able to replace the great characters from the show. Bringing back
Tony
would be massive because the show desperately needs characters like him
Here's the press release. Even though this is a spoilers thread, I'll still tag the plot info.

As long as the FBI agent subplot doesn't occasionally take up entire episodes where Jack is in transit the entire episode and is only in the beginning and end of the episode I'll be fine with it.

I like the episodes where Jack isn't in it much. Lone ranger Jack is boring. This show is always at its most exciting when the supporting players are the focus and the ones being put in danger.
Looking forward to the trailer. Hopefully we get an idea of
Wow, it sounds as if the producers really have altered the format for this season...
That, along with the fact that Keifer is spending Xmas in jail so that he can film this season, has brought me back into the 24 fold after last season's unfathomable nadir of ultimate awfulness.
Can't say I'm excited about the changes they made. Sounds to me like they're just rolling with the same tired old stuff they've been doing for years, just with
CTU replaced by FBI
and a chance of scenery. Someone needs to send Keifer a copy of the Bourne series. This season needed to be about Bauer in a completely different setting, helpless and depending on his past experiences. Also, the power struggle within the White House really needs to go. What's wrong with using the UN for a chance, NATO or the World Bank?
