40 should be the new 30, I mean, 60 should be the actual new 30, but here we are.

90fps with VRR(freesync/gsync) feel soo good actually . Its like 2x better than 60fps . Past that yea not as noticable .After playing on PC in higher framerates, 60fps is not enough for me.
75 fps is a new 60 for me.
90 cap works best.
Past 90 it isn't as noticable for me.
Yeah, Ive been playing some Ninja Gaiden for example and lower framerates than 75 are not noticeable there, I think it runs at stable 60. So it's not like I can't enjoy games at 60 anymore but it depends on a game.90fps with VRR(freesync/gsync) feel soo good actually . Its like 2x better than 60fps . Past that yea not as noticable .
But I can still play 30fps game , just not first person game .
Remember if we talking graphically heavy games something gotta give, settings, resolution or fps, even with top of the top pc ppl sometimes have to make compromises, not to mention 5yo consoles. After playing on PC in higher framerates, 60fps is not enough for me on 240Hz monitor.

30fps with dips is such a terrible experience and console players at the end of the gen always have to suffer tru it, lets see if by 2027-2028 this gen is different, cant predict it yet, but we got examples from end of ps360 gen gta5:There is a significant difference between '30 fps' and 'stable 30 fps'.
The latter is the key. 30 FPS is only a problem if it is noticable, and it's only noticable if it's dropping like shit.
On sample-and-hold displays it will always be noticeable thanks to the constant stutter(the faster the display pixel response, the worse the stutter) without some motion interpolation to mitigate it.There is a significant difference between '30 fps' and 'stable 30 fps'.
