30th Anniversary PS5 Console, Controller and Portal To Have Limited Restock in the UK (PS+ members July 21, All July 23)

Fuck this anniversary shit

Waited in an online queue for half an hour to get a controller first time round
Received a faulty controller (noisy/clicky sticks, something notably off about them)
Initiated a return
Return never got to Sony
Sony support were not interested in helping despite them being the ones that chose the return method and me having a receipt
I'm out £70
Would have drifted anyway

Support wouldn't help you in a situation like that. if they had recommended a return method they would have chose postage that insures it to the correct amount. You need to claim from the courier.
 
Once again, instead of celebrating with their fans and selling them as many consoles and controllers as possible they're making the scalpers happy.
How when PS+ subscribers get to order before anyone? The scalpers are not going to sub to PS+ multiple times to scalp these, it would eat into their return.

They wanted a limited edition console which is part of the selling point of these releases. If it was just another colour then it would be less attractive to people and only make inventory management more difficult.

That's what made it worse, it's a nightmare to get hold of anyone involved. Didn't help that the company/branch I sent it through closed not long after I sent it so I couldn't even go back in and argue
