37 Minute Direct Feed Cyberpunk 2077 footage from Switch 2

At this point, The goalpost has been moved some many times that i don't know where it is 😂

I didn't know that because I don't own a steam deck, but man it sounds like you steam deck owners got ripped off then. Nintendo proved years prior and then years later again that you can upclock and enhance the performance of a handheld device when plugged into a dock, and at a cheaper price. Yall should expect and demand better from Valve next time.
The purpose of a Steam Deck is to be a handheld that can play your PC steam library on the go. It's an accessory, not a primary way of playing PC games. How many Deck owners will seriously use it docked when almost all of them have a PC for desktop/TV use?

If almost all of the have more powerful PCs, then why all the salt?

Assuming you are not trolling, Steam Deck, Ally, Claw, etc can use full clocks all the time except when they would exceed the TDP. Switch 1 can only do that if you mod it and force the full clocks.

Switch 2 according to the leaks, Devs have access to boost GPU and CPU frequencies… I know the CPU boost speeds are for loading times, but GPU boost speed is interesting.

So what you're essentially saying is if you lower the TDP of Steam Deck to be like a "handheld mode" with usable battery life then the game would look even worse and Switch 2 handheld mode be even more obviously powerful? Got it.

Not trolling. Just bored.

It will look worse, yes, but Switch 2 power on handheld not would not change, like, why would it change?!

What salt? Pointing out that the Steam Deck doesn't have a higher TDP while docked is just a statement of fact. Any comparison done to it should be done with other handheld systems.

steemdeck more crud docked annnnnnnnd undocked yes its all true

Good if is an option now and that would explain handheld footages looking similar to docked.
I think that games with low usage of the CPU can use max GPUs speeds… Something like Lego builders Journey with Raytracing… That could be a possibility also a great showcase for the Switch Raytracing graphics capabilities.

Wait wait wait, do mean the 1400 MHz of the GPU can be used on demand by devs?

What's wrong with the quote?

They aren't gonna compare visuals and performance to a ps5 or series x as those will smoke the switch 2.

So ps4 makes sense.

But is it really?

**ps4 vs switch 2**

**steamdeck vs switch 2**

**ps5 vs switch 2**

What is the closest match?
Lets see how honest you can be...

Yes, there's a max speed clock for the GPU in the Switch 2, in the Switch 1 devs used max CPU speeds for loading times. DF explained this.
Yeah I know, but did they say devs can also boost GPU clocks to theoretical max clocks on Switch 2? I don't remember them saying it but maybe I was just not listening, where did they say so?

Who said I owned a steam deck? I'm just informed on because at one point I contemplated getting but I ended up getting a portal.

I mean its going to look good on a smaller screen

Still a blurry mess at anything bigger than an handheld. Such low res

who is this for?
For the thousands of Switch owners that never bought/played it on Sony or MS' platforms?

Not every gamer owns every system or has played every game available on every system.

Also for those that want a superior portable version of Cyberpunk and doesn't want to pay $500+ for a system that they have to then tinker with settings to get a halfway decent version of the game.

It looks so… But he doesn't specify if the devs already have access to the Clock Maximum, but i think that due Thermal limits, they need to downclock the CPU and use the GPU max or vice versa.

I think they only put the theoretical max clocks just for reference, like to know how much Nintendo lowered them for Switch 2, not that the Switch 2 is ever going to reach them in any case, specially if they have to lower CPU clocks which would also affect OS features performance, I don't think Nintendo will allow them to do so

😬.

It's going to be interesting how these third-party games will perform on an ecosystem that has become irrelevant in that sphere.

I mean, pretty much every publisher currently on board with the Switch 2 has released at least one "late port" on the OG Switch and are obviously happy enough with how those games performed to invest in the new system.

None of these games need to sell millions of copies to be worth the limited amount of time and effort expended to port an existing title to a platform that, by all reports, is relatively easy to develop for.

According to Richard, The Switch 1 received an increase in the GPU clock speed at some point. So, it's totally possible that could happen again. If the Max Speed information is there, is for a reason.
