Then you're never getting an XL.

then nintendo should blame themselves for teasing me.

not buying until we get that transparent one.
I would love them forever if they did thatso clear coming to america since the photo does not have the disclaimer :3
it would be kinda sweet if NoA did that![]()
I would love them forever if they did that
But they won't
I'm actually fuckin' pissed about the colors America is getting. I don't want red or blue, they're both childish. I just want black or white or silver. I have a bronze dsixl and it's super classy. I can't have this pale blue toy sitting next to it and my gameboy light. Half considering just getting a purple small 3DS until they put out some good xl colors.
I will more than likely get the red one.
It certainly didn't help that they placed the OG 3DS screen behind a pane of glossy plastic. Seeing my face during loading screens is always a little weird.
The anti-reflective screen tech REALLY pays off. Its one of the things you instantly pick up on in person.
Combining the two represents growth. Clearly. But purple isn't.

The dsi XLs are, duh. How could you actually think I meant two primary colors are childish? The sky and lava are childish!!!!!!!!!! :|The colors red and blue are childish? LOL.
http://www.siliconera.com/2012/07/20/nintendo-3ds-xl-to-have-better-anti-glare-screen/
In addition to the larger screen size and slightly greater battery life, the Nintendo 3DS XL has one other advantage over the Nintendo 3DSa better anti-reflective screen.
Like previous Nintendo portables, the Nintendo 3DS uses an LCD screen. LCD screens have three reflective layers, and each one reflects and causes glare. In the case of the 3DS XL, each of these three layers was specially treated, reducing reflectivity from 12% on the Nintendo 3DS to 3% on the Nintendo 3DS XL. Finally, the screen cover pictured above covers the screen as a whole.
This was possible due to the progress of technology and a drop in manufacturing costs costs. Nintendo staff say that the cost of anti-reflectivity coats was too high to apply them in the past, but that the current manufacturing process and cost balance make them possible to use.
Anti-reflection has been a topic every time since the Game Boy Advance system, but most of the time we had to give it up because of the cost, Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, shared. Regardless, Nintendo kept an eye on the technology all along, hoping to use it when the costs worked out.
Given how some AAA games look I imagine they WOULD see the sky as childish. Lava's a different story though, nevermind BLOOD.The dsi XLs are, duh. How could you actually think I meant two primary colors are childish? The sky and lava are childish!!!!!!!!!! :|
The colors red and blue are childish? LOL.
Probably not.So with the anit-reflective screen, does that mean I can play my 3DS on my patio in the daylight?
What are the chances of a special edition console for holidays? Pretty good, right?
I just want White![]()

I am on mobile and in a hurry, but can someone tell me if DS BC is improved from a resolution standpoint? Thanks.
The colors look bad. Like I've been saying.I hate the words fisher price because it's just a way to criticize a product now without actually saying what looks bad about it.
This looks like a pale light blue? The colors look bad. Like I've been saying.
The device itself is VERY attractive. That pale light blue and red are disti ct.y reminiscent of the childish "big bright shape" aesthetic cultivated by fisher price products.
Yes, I believe there is now a 1:1 option for playing DS games or something to that effect.
Ok......... that's not pale or light.Yeah. It's metallic and slightly shiny from what I've seen so no doubt it changes slightly given the lighting.
With no Kirby 3DS game?Maybe 20th Anniversary Kirby Pink XL?
Ok I do t have it e to debate about the word pale. Would "powdery" be better?
It's a PALE boring blue. I don't know how else to describe it.
I always fix my hair when that happens. It certainly didn't help that they placed the OG 3DS screen behind a pane of glossy plastic. Seeing my face during loading screens is always a little weird.
Transparent 3DS XL from Iwata Asks column.

I want Amazon to carry it at launch too (themselves, and not from 3rd parties overcharging for it), but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. My guess is Nintendo is pissed off at them after Amazon made a bit of a to-do over the failed 3DS screen scratching situation so they didn't just pull the 3DS from Amazon, but every other handheld they make as well. I see no logical business reason why Amazon would choose to not carry any Nintendo handheld. It's just a guess, but I'd wager this is a case of Nintendo of America being petulant little pricks because a retailer dared to complain publicly.
