Aren't all other thread about the same, say, have some off-topic posts in-between? If so lots of threads would be closed because of that standard.

Anyway, just to stay a little on topic, has K-ON been aired in a broadcast channels in your country?

In mine there's no mention about it, but they did broadcast Ranma 1/2 back in the nineties at very lunch time with no so much censorship (one or another nipple shown over there). There was a liberal party at the government at that time.

I also notices they're broadcasting Naruto and they showed the scene where he transforms into a girl taking a bath (I don't watch Naruto at all by the way)

I see no buts in broadcasting K-ON given that precedent...This is about the same level of what is accepted to broadcast

Outside of something like Pokemon there isn't really any anime over here. The funny thing is that most of the time you don't even know it's Japanese because it has some bad dub. I guess this is the case in most European countries.

K-on is going to be airing is Australia though.

Cable channels on the other hand...

Still no. Here in the USA, if it's not shonen series or kid's anime (like Digimon, Pokémon, or Doraemon) it won't air on TV here, unless it's a movie or something.

I came here and I clicked on the heart icon but it asks for a facebook account (which I don't have) and the thumbs up icon doesn't seem to do anything (I clicked it anyways).
How am I supposed to vote with twitter?

In my country there's a channel called Etc TV which airs mostly anime (old ones though or in very old seasons like OP). They did air american cartoons in between (like Little Lulu and such). Their on-line signal is here (You have to close some random movie ad first to see the broadcast. Beware that everything is in spanish :p)

BTW, that channel I posted is a cable channel. About a decade and a half ago a channel used to broadcast animu content. (It was there when they broadcasted Ranma 1/2 about 2:00 PM with many uncensored parts)

You mentioned cable channels...Which of them? American ones?

We have this here. They show anime and vocaloid/j-pop/j-rock/k-pop stuff and gaming programs very so often. (close the movie ads that show randomly. It's all in spanish)

Yeah Im American.

The only cable channels that air anime normally are Cartoon Network (Pokémon and Toonami), Disney XD (Doraemon), and I think Nicktoons airs Digimon and Yugioh.

There's also Funimation Channel, but that's not a major channel or anything. Hell my provider only has it as an On Demand thing lmao.

Currently everyone's attention in my country is focused in an America Cup soccer match against Peru today.

They're making too much noise honking. IDK if they don't give a shit that tomorrow everyone's gotta work (it's 9:37 PM here)

There isn't any Soccer x K-ON fanart, is it? (Since there's almost every <insert random content> x K-ON)

Gnight keions. I'm too tired and must gotta work tomorrow early. I don't give a shit if Chile wins or loses this soccer match.

I've watched the two first seasons, that's why it's a might watch :p

Depends on how much Popura and Yamada there is compared to all the other stuff I don't like.

Nah it's a first go for me. You guys may remember some many pages back I mentioned that as much as I like Anime overall as a medium I haven't really watched that many series. Like I'm nothing compared to Anime GAF in comparison.
