how can people play clannad with such horrible art

more to the point, how the hell did this art get approved by the company

and how did it get approved to be shown on steam

It's an art style, obviously doesn't appeal to everyone right away but it's not the (only)reason people love Clannad. It's a very emotional high school romance-comedy and goes beyond that 'high school' setting.

Outside of the cheesy voicacting/story I didn't really dig enjoy the first Xenoblades.

That being said, the cheesyness is still super entertaining lol.

I haven't finished the first one either yet. But I am still hyped as fuck for the new one, thanks to the review thread that popped up 2 weeks ago. Didn't care at all for the game before... xD

I'm not big on the Clannad Key vn art style but I don't care. I'm in it for the story and emotion. Isn't also the main artist the head of Key or something? She has a powerful position and that's how she likes to draw so... I love the art style by KyoAni. Wish they could have remade it with that art style but like I said. Story and emotion.
