I'm working on an 80s inspired project myself (a movie without a movie). The music (just one song for now) is coming along great, even though I have no idea how to make good music and how to play an instrument, haha. This is amazing.

My problem with a lot of what's posted in here is it's revival stuff; while it's definitely great, there is something to be said about music created during the time. Pertubator is really awesome, along with the others big on Bandcamp, but I just love hearing shit from the time.

I loved every single time Spirit of the Night came on while playing Forza Horizon. Never dug into their catalogue though. I should.

That's one of the reasons Terminator 1 is my favorite film. I love the atmosphere of it to death, and the protagonist is a lot more sympathetic since he has limited means.
