He won for Spirited Away, they had to mail the Oscar to Japan because he was busy at the time, the man is a legend that's way over any Academy Award.just saw the winners. Mattew was going to win, i told you man, told you.

Well, they both have squat for their acting. Leo should start writing/directing if acting doesn't get him oscars?Ben Affleck has two Oscars, and Leo has none.

I feel sorry for him.
He keeps picking up roles with OSCAR WINNER written all over them but the Academy is like.. lol no
Kevin Spacey just burned Travolta on Kimmel.
OMG KEVIN SPACEY KEYBOARD CAT.
THIS IS TOO MUCH.
Not that I recallDid Leo talk against the academy or disagree with them a couple of years back?
I know that, I was just kidding. He won for Spirited Away, they had to mail the Oscar to Japan because he was busy at the time, the man is a legend that's way over any Academy Award.
The actor playing Leo in his biopic will win the Oscar.
I feel sorry for him.

His younger roles were also his best. The Beach and beyond were pretty humbling. The problem is that he's an average actor. He tries his heart out, but he's just not a top tier actor. He's never been robbed, or snubbed. He's lost to better performances every time.
Really? Those are the two best aspects about the film.Gravity - editing?
Gravity - cinematography?
Eh.

I'm just glad AH got nothing. So good.
My favorite Leo performance is Catch me if you Can. Only time where I see the character, and not Leo trying really hard.
Firstly, Cuaron has had better cinematography in his past films like Children of Men or Great Expectations. Second, even though it's shamelessly flashy, The Grandmaster had the edge.Really? Those are the two best aspects about the film.

Do I wish Lubezki won for Tree of Life? Sure. But what he did with what amounts to a fictional camera in fictional spaces is astounding.Firstly, Cuaron has had better cinematography in his past films like Children of Men or Great Expectations. Second, even though it's shamelessly flashy, The Grandmaster had the edge.
Gravity has nice spectacle, but its actual cinematography is more storyboard than perspective sleight of hand.
3 out of the last 21 winners doesn't seem like high probability to me.
To be fair, the short doc that won was a film about a holocaust survivor who was only spared because she could play the piano and the Germans used her in their concerts. You didn't argue against what he claimed. 3/21 isn't the chance of a movie with slavery/holocaust winning; you need to see all the times a movie with that criteria was nominated and how many times it won.
Muted as soon as he mentioned god.
I guess Scientology didn't cure his dyslexia like it did for Cruise. Also,
LMAO @ John Travolta butchering Idina Menzel's name by calling her "Adele Dazim".
LOL
Also, I thought that Jared Leto, John Ridley, Cate Blanchett, and Matthew McConaughey all gave great speeches.
